My feedback is a bit late but I stayed with Leonora, Denis and their kids for about 2 weeks in November and I had a wonderful time with them!
They welcomed me warmly into their home and the tasks were easily manageable. I mostly helped with cooking, cleaning, watching after the kids and bringing them to bed. It was really nice to get to know all… read more of them and being a part of the family. A few times I even had the chance to help Denis milking the cows which was fun for me and a really great experience!
Thank you for my wonderful stay with you and the trips you made possible!
Best wishes, Elina :)

Leonora, Denis and the kids (Willow, Beatrix and Donnocha) are an amazing family. It was my first workaway experience and the perfect one. I couldn't imagine a better first family. From the first meeting until the goodbyes I felt like a part of the family. I felt at home. Playing and reading with the kids, movie nights, laughing and talking with… read more Leonora and joking with Denis was just perfect. The trips, me, Leonora and the kids did, were always fun and I could even take trips by myself. Freddy the dog is also very cute. It was always nice and enjoyable to chat, listen to music and sing along together. The cooking for them and with them was amazing and the baking of Leonora is top notch. 😉😂 I would visit them any time again and would've stayed longer if I had more time. I'm very sad to leave. They really became friends and even a family to me. I felt like the daughter or aunt who visits for a month. 😂😍 Miss you guys already, hope to see you again.

Leonora, Denis and their kids are very kind and lovely people! I've stayed with them for three months and it was a great experience on so many levels. They are the first Workaway family I had and I couldn't have been asking for more. They were welcoming, understanding, caring, funny and very interesting to spend time with. I definitely learned… read more more about family life as well as the Irish culture, farming (cows, chickens & ducks) and English language. We had a great time together sharing thoughts, cooking together and having fun with the kids. Willow, Beatrix and Donnacha are such lovely and perfectly happy kids. It was a pleasure to learn and play with them as well as to be a little part of their developmental stages. Their dog Freddy is also very fun to play with! All in all, I want to to say a huge "Thank you!" to this beautiful and kind family!

We consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have had Beam with us during her time here. She excelled in assisting our children with their homework, engaging them in playful games, and entertaining them.

Rachel and Kates were an absolute pleasure to host and they would be welcome back any time. They were excellent with the kids. My children talk about them all the time, they really made an effort to get to know the children and form relationships with them.
They were so tidy and worked on initiative, they did not need to be told what to do and… read more kept busy. They did a lot of painting and did some planting of bulbs which I am looking forward to seeing pop up. They painted a chicken coop which turned out beautifully. We made some very delicious food together, the artichoke dip was my absolute favourite!
They were a joy to have around the house and we really enjoyed their company. They were so helpful with the kids it gave us opportunities to get out and do activities. It was our first experience with Workaway, and it was the best experience I could possibly have had.
