JUST DO IT! This was a lovely workaway experience. Vio the owner is extremely organised and welcoming. She takes the time to get know you and ensure you are as comfortable as possible. She is extremely thoughtful, I told her I enjoyed eating bread and the house was never without bread for the weeks to follow! Additionally, she is a wonderfully

She taught me how to make bread, ice cream and pasta within the two weeks of my stay! If you want to improve your French and are shy about it Vio also does an amazing job of making you feel comfortable, competent, and safe no matter your level. The location is beautiful and Vio provides you with a wonderful bathroom and room for the duration of your time. The sights surrounding the property are things out of a painting and the walks you might take will have your camera roll filled with pictures. There is also a market that you will visit to get foods for your meals! It's a very cool place filled with different kinds of vendors. And although it wasn't obligatory I got to go on 2 lovely field trips during my stay to the beach and an old distillery! As for work, my days consisted of mostly painting, filling holes, and pulling up tile. You are free to organise yourself but Vio also has a schedule you can follow so you always have tasks to do for your hours. Truly, this for me was more than just a workaway experience but one that was deeply filling and enriching. Vio is a person that you might meet once in your life, she's so accepting and kind, I think it's rare to find people like that. She made the house feel like a home and I will be grateful to visit again. I whole heartedly recommend this workaway, you'll arrive with nothing but leave with a friend. Thank you for everything you did for me <3You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

We stay at Violette and Daniel for a week. They welcomed us really well. Violette came to pick us up at the bus station (15min walk from the house). we had our own room with heater (really confortable). Also the food wasn't included but we exchange few meal together and could use a lot of dry food (left by other visitor). The communication was

I spent a week and a half with Violet and Daniel in Montbernard, and this was my only good workaway experience so far. They are really kind and nice people, and they made sure I had everything I needed. Communication was easy and clear and the house clean and the whole place is beautiful. I felt welcomed from the beginning and Violet trusted me

We came along really well and going to the markets with Violet was so nice. She also took me to other nice places and I enjoyed all of it. We had many good and honest conversations about life and I felt that I could be myself around them. Violet also invited me for yoga every morning, but it was ok to skip for a lazy morning if needed. I did ofcourse feel better the days I attended the yoga.
The scenery in this part of France is beautiful with hills, trees and its green over all. I wouldve stayed here longer if it wasnt for that I had already agreed on another workaway place before I arrived here. Im thankful for the experience and warmly recommend this place!
Thank you for everything and I wish we meet again in the future xYou can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
