2026 BIG CHANGES:I'm doing better and don't need as much help around the house so I'm not really accepting anyone, but if you read everything we might still be able to meet.

Hello! I'm Moxi. I live in a small village in the South of Spain in a loft apartment with two cats.

I'm 42 years old. I'm French Colombian. I'm a painter, I work with acrylics and watercolor. I also write, and am very politically active. I do smoke herb (can't stand tobacco) inside my house but keep it very well ventilated. I also eat meat. I am a COVID-realist and still mask in indoor spaces. I am the only one in the town that does so.

This is a village in the deep South of Spain, if you don't know about Spain, it's a great place to learn. It's also an hour away from major cities, and even closer to small but beautiful towns like Ronda and Coín. There are buses to go to Malaga but not enough to go on an extended day trip. If you want to paint I have some materials I can share, and my family is Colombian so depending on when you're here you might experience some Colombian culture as well.

What to expect from the town:
Beautiful nature, some places for hiking. Quaint white Spanish village infrastructure. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is a beautiful space. If you're looking for the beach, clubs, or some kind of scene to socialize in, you will have no luck in this town. It's unbearably hot during the summer (July-August especially) so you spend a lot of time in the house under the fan. During the winter it's gray, rainy, and cold so spending a lot of time in the apartment under blankets.

What to expect from the apartment:
A beautiful 200-year old attic barn renovated into a bohemian artsy lofty apartment with high wooden ceiling. I have my own room but instead of a closed door there's a curtain, for this reason I am very particular about who I let in my house and don't often receive men. This is a (green) smoker house. Cigarette or any tobacco product is to be smoked outside the house (there's a nice smoker section on my balcony). There's also a garden. My sister and mother live in the apartment below.

    What tasks/schedule to expect:
Every day: Help thinking about and preparing meals. Clean the kitchen. Scoop the cat litter.
A couple times a week: Water the garden. Go grocery shopping. Clean kitchen and living room floor.
Once a week: Clean the cat litter, fold sheets, hang up laundry to dry and take it back down. Perhaps other miscellaneous tasks if you're up for it.

    What to expect from me:
I mostly keep to myself and stay in my room. I'm incredibly involved with world politics and take community building very seriously, which means I take your autonomy and comfort very seriously as well. My space is a pro-Palestine, anti-fascist, anti-racist, pro-choice, community-minded LGBTQ space and I won't feel comfortable with someone who doesn't share the same values. I organize clothing swaps and other activities in my town but for the most part stay in my room. I love to support others but also need a lot of support myself, which is why I'm on this site. I love to create art and spend a lot of time painting, writing, drawing, collaging, or playing on my computer/phone. Most of the time I leave you alone but if you need anything I'm more than happy to help. I'm incredibly ADHD which can be both funny and incredibly frustrating for me and those around me.

HEALTH PRECAUTIONS (2026): I am following updated COVID precautions and am currently only accepting others who are also COVID-realists and are still masking.

WHAT WILL GET YOU IMMEDIATELY TURNED DOWN:
-If I can tell you haven't read what I've written you will get turned down
    - If your message sounds like chatgpt or copy paste you will get turned down (I need to hear your voice and know who YOU are)
    - If you write me asking me various thing Ive already answered in my profile, you will get turned down.
-If you are not currently masking for COVID you will get turned down

You can go hiking, and when it's warm there are a couple of beautiful water spots with waterfalls within hiking distance.
The town is a quaint quiet little town that has the very basics.
It's a small conservative town so you get stared at if you're new, but it's still relatively safe. There are buses to cities around us but not enough buses to go on a day trip. There are no buses in the town itself and you have to walk everywhere, but nothing is more than 10 minutes away.
