Description
We are a family living in a beautiful village an hour outside Montreal. Our home is a 25 acres hobby farm, with private woods, and fields. We have two adorable miniature horses, and two pet dogs! We would love to host you. Our home is a huge bungalow, we have a pool and hot tub to chill in after a fun day. Several outbuildings and a large barn. If you want to learn about Canadian forest habitation and wildlife, or trail cutting, or barn maintenance, and real country folk, then live with us for a few months! Maybe you’re an Eco student, or planning on working with dogs or horses, or studying to be an Outdoor Ed teacher ? This is a bilingual Francophone/Anglophone neighbourhood. We’re also an hour south of Ottawa.

We have a spare bedroom that’s private. But you’d live in our home with the family.
We eat meals together as a family so you’d be expected to take turns to cook and help clean up.What else ...
We are close to both Montreal and Ottawa, both cities very accessible directly from our local train station, and both full of culture and history. We would figure out in advance what days of the week you’d like to sight see. We have typical rural Wi-Fi so I wouldn't recommend spending time online. We have cable tv and several lounge rooms to relax in the evenings. We are private people, and like a quiet chilled home. Mom and the two teens are in Montreal midweek so it’s a haven of rural peace midweek. This would suit a ‘go getter’ morning person!
