Description
We are a small family of New Zealanders living in Kurow, a town of around 300 people surrounded by lakes, mountains and close to the sea. I am a winemaker and really busy during the 6 weeks of harvest, and really want to find someone to help my wife with the children a few hours each day. Help with the dishes, preparing a meal, babysitting our 6 year old son, or playing with the 15 month old baby.

We have a lovely community here, with really interesting friends and neighbors. We are nice people and well travelled, good cooks and conversationalists.
Workawayers staying with us will get the opportunity to experience life inside a small New Zealand community. You will be treated as part of our family, have plenty of opportunities to practice speaking English, and hopefully expose our children to your culture and language also.
Kurow is a very beautiful little town, and close to rivers, lakes, mountains and the sea. You will have plenty of opportunity to experience the natural beauty of our place while staying with us.
Both of us have lived, worked and travelled in a number of countries, and love giving back to the travelling community now that we have settled back in NZ.

Help

It's really important that you are calm and comfortable with kids and their sometimes high energy, and that you are happy to help with cooking and cleaning.

Accommodation
We have a separate, outdoor bedroom with plenty of space for relaxing. it has a large queen bed, is warm, clean and dry. We would share meals. Each evening dinner is either cooked by you or one of us, and often we eat straight from the garden.
