    Description

Hello, we are Neil & Emma-Jane, and live in the beautiful Isle of Skye with our 4 kids. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 6 hens.
We live in a small crofting township near the sea, and 3 miles from our local village (there is no public transport in our area, so you will need you a vehicle). The house is a 3 bedroom renovated croft house, with large garden.
Cuilean, is a 12year old labrador x. She has arthritis . Her aim in life is to be loved and to please. Because of her arthritis, she cannot go for long walks, but a short walk down our road or down to the river below our home for her to have a swim will be needed each day.
Tess, is a4 year old white border collie, who is a bundle of fun and loves to be loved. She is full of energy and enjoys a good long walk, she's a typical young dog who aims to please but needs to be reminded to behave from time to time.
Both dogs sleep in the house at night, but the young dog has a kennel if you are out during the day.
We have two cats, Shadow & Spookley, they pretty much sleep all day, demand their meal, then head out all night.
And then there is the hens, who will need there food & water topped up, eggs collected and be locked in at night.

The Isle of Skye has many beautiful sights to visit, especially if you enjoy the outdoors. There is no public transport in our area. We have wi-fi, but this can sometime be poor during bad weather. The local community hall is about a 10minute drive away, there is usually badminton & yoga classes on weekly as well. And sometimes a food &music night. Lots of great places to swim and walk.
The biggest village of Portree, has a swimming pool, gym.
