    Description

We are Emmanuel and Juliana and together with Kauê, our 8 years old child, we live in a small village in the Spanish Pyrenees. Juliana (Brazilian) is a teacher, singer and dancer while Emmanuel (Belgian) works as a regenerative consultant in the built environment. Our home is a pleasant place to live with a strong connection to nature, a garden based on permaculture principles and an interior biophilic design that makes you feel at home.
We are looking for a couple of volunteers who like to be involved in the raising of Kauê and help us out with cooking and taking care of the house and the garden. Ideally, you have a specific interest in the field of childcare and you enjoy creating little projects together with Kauê, sourced from your own interests and aimed at developing Kauê´s curiosity and skills.
What we can offer you besides lodging and food is our experience in regenerative education, specifically hand in hand parenting.
We also have a dog called Maya who loves to go on hikes so we are looking for someone who likes dogs as well.
So if the above resonates with you we would love to connect.
    Emmanuel and Juliana.

This place is built according to regenerative principles so you will have the opportunity to see and experience a house that produces more energy then it consumes and that works with rainwater only. In addition it is built according to the principles of biophilia allowing a connection with nature in all senses. It is my aim to provide inspiration and tools for the development of regenerative projects, whether it is a place, a system or a process or simply a new way of being in the world.
We welcome people that have the ambition to start their own project or who are involved in a project and would like to become familiar with principles and practical methods to apply regenerative thinking to those projects. During your stay at the place we will have plenty of opportunities to engage in conversations about regeneration.
We apply this regenerative thinking also to parenting and if you have an interest in raising children you will learn how this works in practice through the principles of hand in hand parenting.

    Help

The raising of a child should be done by a larger tribe, not just the parents. That is why we invite volunteers to be part of our little tribe so there are more hands available to help out in an and around the house and more people involved in the creative play children require.

This place is located in a small village. To get there, you need to take a train from Barcelona (3-hour train ride) to a nearby train station. I pick you up at the train station which is 15 minutes by car from the house. It is a remote location but surrounded by nature. It is a place to contemplate the beauty and quietness of nature. You can walk or cycle.
A drivers licence would be useful but is not a requirement.
