Description
My project WAS project about improving the water quality in cities and places where it needs a renaturation. The project is based on low-tech & fair costs. We will research how to create a very low-cost and simple system, which everybody can build by themselves. at this moment I have to pause the project because of government reasons.
But therefore I can still host volunteers on the boats or in the flat. Just write to me and at the time when you can help me

We will build rafts for the main location where the research center will be working in summer. We will be a lot on water with ships. Not to forget that Berlin is a big city. But in my case it is like you are in nature, when you are on the water.

Help
as my project is on ice it it possible to help in other things. I still have my island and planning to leave the actual place to an other much more in nature.

Accommodation
You will get a bed in bed at the island in a ship or a hut. Perhaps, i can give you a bike for the time you are here. When we meet we can cook once a day something together. For your food and drinks you have your own responsibility.
In winter I can offer you a room in Kreuzberg in a WG and with other flatmates. As you have to work only 3 days instead 5 days a week its fair to provide your own food.
What else ...
Best is if you can ride a bike, so Berlin will be perfectly explored. I know a lot of places and it can never get boring here. Of course you can also always use my boats on water. I will be happy if you stay minimum one month.
I did some maker camps before in my life so i have some selection criteria like your age and practicability with tools or mind.

You can work and stay on the boat with electricity from solar panels and you get your drinking water from the tab nearby. Also there is a big parking place where you can park your Bus/(Caravan)...
Space for parking camper vans
It is/was possible to stay in the surrounding from the place where we are with the boats.
Can possibly accept pets
Just ask me if you have a pet with you. I have a dog and one of the tasks will be looking after the dog sometimes going out with her.
