Hello!! I am a 26-year-old young man from the Nahuatl indigenous community in Xilitla, San Luis Potosí, Mexico. Located 17 km from the municipal seat within the jungle I live together with my wife, my son and my parents. We own a farm in which we are dedicated to the production of coffee, vanilla, Valencia orange and mandarin as well as temporary crops for our consumption. Our job consists of maintaining our crops. Also at home we have backyard animals such as chickens and ducks. Our farm opens the doors to travelers from all over the world in order for them to know how to live in the jungle and what are our farming methods that we have inherited from our ancestors the Aztecs, as well as the synergy we have with nature. and the preservation of our traditions and customs.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

With us they can learn many things for their life since at the moment of knowing our way of living they will greatly value different aspects of their daily life. Something that most people are struck by is how we have learned to live in the middle of the jungle with few resources. In addition to being immersed in a fairly quiet environment away from the noise of the city. You will know how an indigenous Mexican family lives in depth. They will know and value our cultural manifestations. They will be able to learn our native language which is Nahuatl. If you are interested in agriculture, you will know how we do it in an organic and ecological way. In addition to that you will taste typical dishes and you yourself collected the fruit trees and vegetables that we will eat. We are a family full of knowledge and ready to exchange different ways of living. We are waiting for you !!!

Conoceran y valoran nuestras manifestaciones culturales.
