Description
Hi guys, my name is Susanne. I am a 72 year old woman and own a pottery in the famous bavarian Steigerwald.
The pottery is part of my house, which is home to my daughter’s coffee shop as well. The building is located in a small village called Fabrikschleichach with 120 residents in the midst of nature and forest.

If wanted travellers can gain insights from working in a pottery, the living in a small village, enjoy beer & wine tasting (the region is very famous for small breweries and vineyards)...improve their german, have a nice stay in the steigerwald and enjoy coffee & cake (especially on saturday and sunday in our "café Ton".

Primarily i need help in the house such as clearing out the basement, little maintenance tasks, preparing firewood and gardening , repairing usefull things....may be build a house for the chickens....
Now -in autumn- you can help to make applejuice - collect and pick apples

Accommodation
I can offer you an own room with shared bathroom and kitchen. The bedroom includes one bed .You can stay at my place for about three weeks ore more.
What else ...
In your time off you can explore the region, walking and hiking in the forest and enjoy the nature. Bamberg, a small bavarian city and world cultural heritage is just 30km away (30 min by car). You can also visit the Baumwipfelpfad at Ebrach.
If you are interessted in " Pottery" you can sit in free time at the potterweel or make a sculpture ......
