    ABOUT US.

    This is a NON organization that affects the community in the field of health and Education. In Education we are more focused on maternal health care. In Education we are more focus on providing education to the community about maternal health care and to ensure that the community gains great understanding regarding maternal health and also to stop the misconceptions that some communities hold about mother and children. Our organization is more focus on maternal health care due to high demand, this is due to the existence of maternal and child death
    Tanzania is one of the countries that have the biggest problem of maternal and child death. This is due to lack of access to these service in rural areas. Rural areas are the leading cause of maternal and child death, this is due to poor infrastructure and the distance to access these services. Due to this distance pregnant mothers do not go to hospital so they give birth at home with help of traditional midwife this is due to the existing distance example there are some places where they have to walk 50 kilometers to get hospital services and also they have to pay for transport , due to not being able to afford the cost, that’s why they give birth home with help of traditional midwife, the traditional midwife do not have enough education to hep the mothers during child birth, so when problem arise during childbirth they are unable to face them because they don’t have the knowledge to deal with it.
    Other reasons of maternal death in Tanzania are;
    HAEMORRHAGE (28%);
    ECLAMPSIA (19%);
    PUERPERAL SEPSIS; (8%)

    LACK OF ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENTS (11.8%)
    For some health centers that provide maternal health service in rural areas they do not have enough equipment to help pregnant mothers such equipment is blood Pressure machine, Baby Doppler, medicine and delivery bed
    LACK OF TRANSPORTATION (15.7%)
    This service is free but transportation is very difficult. The transportation in rural area is poor. This caused pregnant mother to give birth at home or on the road without help
    Also Tanzania faces very high maternal and gender health indicator including high rate of pre – mature birth, HIV transmission from mother to child (PITC) and early pregnancy
    Increase maternal death is found by women aged 30 – 39 versus 15- 19 years
    So this situation made us start provision these services in rural area where these service do not exist to help to reduce maternal and child mortality.
    Our organization was founded by Jesca who is a Midwife and had a great calling in helping the community in the matter of mother and children health
    This was her idea from when she was a little girl, she saw how the community was having trouble to get care for mother and children, especially for pregnant mother when they wanted to give birth, they did not get quick care and some had to walk a long way to get the care
    This led her to study nursing and Midwife to help the community. Immediately after completed her studies at the age of 23. She started to volunteered to help she started to volunteer to help the community especially the communities that lives in area where this service is not available
    We started a group of five people who have the same hearts that were ready to help the community. After seeing there was a great need we registered as NGO in 2023. An organization that will help to deliver material health care to the area where this service has not reached
    Currently we don’t have people who are employed by the office but we have five people who have the same vision to help people of that kind. So we work as a team.
