Description
The lodge is a starup non-profit organization where I offer a safe place for (mainly) dogs who do not fare well on the streets of Albania (ofcourse other animals in need will be welcomed as well). We are located just outside the city of Berat (10 min drive to the center) on a quiet piece of land surrounded by hills, mountains and farmland.
Currently i am working with loans and grants but will work towards supporting food, medical costs and sterilization programs by running a campsite and convenience store on the premises.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Workawayers will experience authentic Albanian culture by living and working in Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage site. During their stay they will learn about animal care, shelter operations, sustainable tourism, and community outreach as well as connect with locals through partnerships and events, such as spay/neuter programs or educational workshops.
Workawayers are treated as part of the family, with shared meals, group activities, and inclusive decision-making while hands-on roles in animal care, guest interactions, and eco-tourism tasks foster teamwork and collaboration.Help
The land and property (including a big pool ;)) do need a lot of help. Also i will need a couple extra hands to take care of the animals. Fotographers, communications/marketing (ex-)students and creative souls are very welcome as well!
