  • Description

This opportunity for a Rural host is ideally suited to Couples our accommodation is like another house where your privacy is given and respected.

We provide all meals this includes breakfast, lunch and dinner (evening meal) along with plenty of biscuits etc to enjoy.

Being rural we enjoy the produce off our land and enjoy home baked bread.

We are a family of 5 (we are blessed with 3 now adult children) and also we are very involved with our 3 grandchildren to ensure our eldest Son is support to raise them in a rural environment.

Our Mother/Wife/Nanna has had a bad injury to her knee and now awaits surgery for this and during this time she can't do much as she is on crutches to assist with walking (1 crutcher).

Some times its easier to do things with others or have others learn along side.

Most likely you will leave this family struggling to do so given people say to us... "wish they don't have to leave, we feel like family now"!

Our Daughter where possible locally will do local sights and locations as time and suitability permits.

We will try to accommodate an opportunity for you to travel on our farm with family members be it a Tractor ride or a Ute ride for the purpose of the experience, while we complete an suitable task on farm this gives you opportunity to see our farm land, calves (baby cows) and landscapes.

We run a Beef Farm and have other businesses which members of the family are involved with so we wear many hats every day but are social at meal times and in the evenings. While our Daughter does the assisting of the home and grounds our Sons are very involved with the farm side from break fences to stock movements and planting of paddocks its a full family situation with more responsibilities coming onto our Adult children to ensure the farm and such is moving forward at all times due to the Mothers injury situation.

We enjoy outdoor dining where possible and never say no to a Tea/Coffee outside on a nice night looking at the stars however with Winter approaching Lunches weather depending are outside and Dinner (main evening meal) is inside.

Currently our Fur-babies are consisting of 4 Cats (1 semi-shy Siamese, 3 Tabbies of which 2 are shy),1 Dog, 1 vocal pet sheep, 1 Retired House Cow (Pet Cow), 9 chickens - these are able to be fussed and cared for during your visit as they allow.
