Description
Welcome to Pirque, Chile — a peaceful corner surrounded by mountains and vineyards.
My name is Ignacio, I’m the founder of a renewable energy project focused on solar power and smart off-grid systems. I live on a one-hectare property in a private community in Pirque, about 45 minutes south of Santiago. The land includes a main house, a small cabin for guests, gardens, trees, and a lot of space to grow ideas (and plants!).
I’m looking for travelers who want to exchange a few hours of help each day for a comfortable stay in the cabin. Tasks can include gardening, light construction, maintenance, painting, or helping around the property — depending on the season and your skills.
In return, you’ll have a peaceful place to stay, share meals, learn about solar energy, and enjoy nature with a relaxed and creative atmosphere.
If you enjoy working outdoors, good conversation, and a slower rhythm of life close to Santiago — this could be your place.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I love meeting people from different cultures and practicing my English.
We can cook together — I enjoy making local Chilean food and also some dishes I learned while traveling in Asia.
You’ll experience everyday life in a peaceful Chilean countryside setting, and I’m always happy to share stories, music, and good conversations.
Help
We’re looking for a friendly and responsible traveler who enjoys outdoor work and doesn’t mind getting their hands a bit dirty.
Most of the help needed is around the house and garden — keeping the place clean and organized, collecting trash, trimming the grass, maintaining the garden and outdoor areas, and helping to keep the property tidy.
We also have some fun ongoing projects, like creating small walking paths through the forest area and improving the landscape. Depending on your skills, we might also work together on small building or maintenance tasks.
You’ll usually work side by side with me, and we’ll share ideas, meals, and good conversations. It’s a calm place surrounded by nature — perfect if you like to stay active while enjoying peace and quiet.

Accommodation
Workawayers will stay in a small private cabin with a comfortable single bed, bathroom, and a place to store clothes. It’s cozy, quiet, and surrounded by nature.
The main kitchen is in the main house, and we also have a big outdoor area with a quincho — great for barbecues, meditation, or exercise.
The property is almost one hectare, inside a private and secure community in Pirque. You can walk freely around the land or explore the nearby hills. It’s a peaceful and safe place to relax after a day of outdoor work.
