  Description

  we are a family, Marc, Marloes, Jules, Lauren and our two dogs Harrie and Willie. We decided in 2022 that life could be different, looking for adventure, sold everything in the Netherlands and bought our new house in Spain, La Nucia, next to Altea.
  Sounds simple and in the end it was, of course we had quite way bumps but that was what we were looking for anyway, adventure!
  
  Our oasis is located in La Nucia, almost 10.000m2 of land in the Campo. that means "the countryside" in Spain.
  
  Marc likes to be busy with anything and everything. mountain biking, paddling, water sports, working on one of his garage projects.
  
  Marloes has started her Bodyfrequence practice at home, she loves rest, reading and good conversations. Hiking in nature with Harrie.
  
  We heard about workaway through friends and were immediately enthusiastic.
  We bought a finca in Spain of which especially the garden was very neglected. We have already cleaned up a large part but we would like to make it even more beautiful.
  
  our dream is a small campsite on our land, for this we need to cultivate the land and make the yard cosy. We also have a nice multi-purpose room above our garage, which Marc is going to turn into a studio and could use some help with.
  
  We are currently looking for a couple that can help us with the creation of our mini camping. own transportation would be a pre. You will have your own cosy caravan and a separate luxury bathroom and toilet. We prefer a couple because we also ask a little help in the Kitchen ;-)

  we offer a very relaxing environment, ideal for hikers, cyclists, water sports enthusiasts.
  We value our privacy and respect yours.
  We work from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and after that we enjoy the surroundings and peace and quiet. on weekends we go out or chill at the pool.

  Help

  We would love to host a couple or two friends who are traveling together.
  
  On our finca there are all kinds of big and smaller tasks,
  
  We would also like to create a vegetable and herb garden. Knowledge of this is very desirable because we know very little about it.
  
  We love good and healthy food, it would be nice if you could provide dinner 5 days a week.
  We love the cuisine of the world and want to teach this to our children.

  You want to learn Dutch, No problem, we will teach you. We are willing to learn yours but it s not necessary.

  At the moment we have one caravan with a double bed.
  
  When staying with us we'll provide you with all the food you love.
  
  In the mornings you can have your own breakfast in the caravan and lunch & dinner we will have together.

  What else ...

  you can go to the beach of Altea by bike in 25-30 min through the dry riverbed. there are several climbing routes nearby.
  It is possible to go to Valencia or Alicante by bus or train.
  The castle of Guadalest is nearby.

  Our yard is the perfect place for RVs and vans. Power and water are provided.

  We have a wirehaired pointer so if your dog is comfortable with other dogs he is welcome. our garden is fenced all around. however, small dogs can escape.
