Enjoy the beautiful nature and lovely beaches in Cape Breton during your stay at our place in the middle of amazing nature.
Even in the winter the beaches are amazing, since most of the ocean is frozen solid!

Because of illness there is no one to cook and clean in the house, that is where we would need help with!

For us “cultural exchange” in Cape Breton means, learn how to life without hectic and stress. The Cabot Trail (with beautiful walks) is not far away; cultural first nation centre; Antigonish; opportunities in the house to make music, there is a piano and a guitar.
Lots of music and Square dances in the area.

My mother is in bed due to illness. Her husband, Ed, is getting the household done, feed the dogs and the chickens, and do the cooking. And shoveling snow in the winter.
This is where we would really need your help!

I am visiting almost every day for a few hours, but have a 2 year old with me, so can not always be very helpful. And I cannot be there the whole day.

    Accommodation

We have a small mini home one bedroom and one living room with a beautiful wood stove where you would live in. It's very close to the main house.
The wifi would be in the main house, sometimes some wifi reaches the house, but not a whole lot...
So downloading movies or bringing books recommended.
    We are a vegetarian household.
