    Description

We are a complete 52 acre organic farm in a semi-arid region in South India!!! We started the farm about 4 years ago with a vision to build a self-sustaining organic ecosystem, with an aim to change agricultural practices in India and with a goal to give back to the society that raised us. Once a barren and arid mass of uncultivated land, the farm today is thriving with growth and activity. We grow a variety of fruits and vegetables, manage a seed bank, run a nursery, harvest rainwater, generate vermi-compost, conduct field training programs and sell produce at the farm gate. The farm is home to 4 permanent employees and additionally 10 daily-wage labor work as and when required. We have come a long way but we need all the help we can get to make the farm 100% productive and self-sustaining.

Me and my wife are a young, fun loving couple. Both of us have lived abroad in the past and we've now made the farm our home. We enjoy travelling, visiting other farms, experiment with cooking and meeting new people. We highly value cultural diversity and we look forward to teach, learn and share experiences with workawayers visiting us.

If you are looking to take a break, have some fun, experience new cultures and gain some farm knowledge along the way, we are the place for you. We would love to have you if you are someone who is ready to pluck fruit, cut weeds, feed cows, collect chicken eggs and do any handy job available.

If this sounds like something you have in mind, we would love to hear from you :)
