We live a pretty clean life here at the farm. It's a place to unplug, be in nature surround by beautiful trees and many talented folks. Our farm is a 'heart centre', and many call it 'home'. We host many house concert for like-minded musicians, as well as gatherings and retreats- yoga, drum journeys, art. This is a side of 'Americans' that you will not find anywhere else.
We have many smaller projects on, mostly gardening in the spring, summer and fall. We are constantly making the farm more beautiful, and love where we live. We think it is a slice of heaven in a very busy world. This summer, we are staining a few of our structures, building more garden beds, and making a meditation/workout trail in the woods by the creek in the winter.
In the spring, summer, and fall we offer tents and tents spaces, sleeping pads and pillows provided- with many spaces for our guests to choose from. In the winter, we have limited inside spaces. You bring your own sleeping bag, tent if you are travelling with one. There is a communal kitchen, vegetarian meals provided, outdoor shower, 2 outhouses and a hot tub. There is also a large communal space where we gather for tea, music, storytelling in the evenings. Massage table on site, and many healers in the area.
We are 1 hr 15 mins from Ashland, oregon, and 2 hours from the coast and the Redwoods. Josephine county has many beautiful clean rivers to swim in, and that is what we tend to do during those hot hours in the middle of the day. There are many hiking trails in the area, and we are not too far from the PCT- Pacific Coast Trail. The closest airport is Medford, 45 mins away. There is no public transport in Williams, but there are buses that take you to Grants pass, 30 mins away. We will coordinate picking up and dropping off in Grants Pass, Medford or Ashland. There is now Uber and Lyft in our area.
