  Description

  We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children who live in a private farmhouse surrounded by nature, away from the town and next to a horse riding area. We have a large piece of land with a garden and chickens. It is a very quiet area, with many hiking trails and horseback riding. From home there is a very beautiful path with very lush nature, which looks like the jungle towards a 12th century castle (30 min walk). We are just 20 minutes from Gerona and about 30 minutes from the sea. 1 hour from the Pyrenees and the border. Other nearby areas and interests are: Barcelona 1 hour away, the Costa Brava and Garrotxa about 45 minutes away.
  
  Somos una familia de 4, 2 adultos y 2 niños que vivimos en una masía rodeada de naturaleza, alejada del pueblo y al lado de una hípica. Tenemos un gran terreno con un huerto y gallinas. Es una zona muy tranquila, con muchas rutas de senderismo y para hacer en bici a caballo. Desde casa hay una camino muy bonito con una naturaleza muy frondosa, que parece la selva hacia un castillo del s.XII ( 30 min andando). Estamos a tan solo 20 minutos de Gerona y a unos 30 minutos del mar. A 1h de los Pirineos y de la frontera. Otras zonas e interés cercanas son: Barcelona a 1h, la costa Brava y la Garrotxa a unos 45min.

  We can offer our knowledge about bioconstruction, and life in a very beautiful environment. We love meeting people from other countries and different cultures and it will also be an opportunity to improve our English and that of the little ones in the house.
  
  Podemos ofrecer nuestros conocimientos sobre bioconstrucción, y vivir en un entorno natural y muy bonito. A nosotros nos encanta conocer gente de otros países y culturas diferentes y también será una oportunidad para mejorara nuestro inglés y el de los más peques de la casa.

  Help

  We are looking for people eager to help us maintain our wonderful private space. Experience is preferred but not essential. We would like to assist with general maintenance tasks on our private land and with the construction of natural building spaces. Experience or knowledge of permaculture is also a plus. We would work together to share knowledge and learn from each other. At least a basic level of English is essential for communication. We also speak Spanish and Catalan. Familiarity with gardening tools and machinery is also important.

  Buscamos a gente con ganas de ayudarnos a mantener nuestro maravilloso espacio privado, a poder ser con experiencia, pero no es imprescindible, para que nos ayude en tareas de mantenimiento de nuestro terreno privado tareas y para la construcción de espacios de bioconstrucción y si puede ser con experiencia o conocimientos en permacultura. Realizaríamos las tareas conjuntamente, para compartir conocimientos y poder aprender mutuamente. Es imprescindible que hable algo de inglés como mínimo para poder comunicarnos. Nosotros hablamos también español y catalán. Es importante también que sepa usar herramientas y máquinas de jardinería.

  Accommodation

  We offer a caravan with a avancé, fully equipped, with a kitchen with refrigerator, bathroom with shower and a living room that can be converted into a double bed and another space with a bunk bed. As for meals, we will share some meals and the rest we will provide the basic foods and those they request so that they can cook for themselves.
  
  Ofrecemos una caravana con una avancé, completamente equipada, con cocina con nevera, baño con ducha y un salón comedor convertible en cama doble y otro espacio con una litera. En cuánto a las comidas compartiremos algunas comidas y el resto proporcionamos los alimentos básicos y los que nos pidan para que puedan cocinarse ellos mismos.

  What else ...

  During their free time they have many activities, from walking to enjoy the surroundings, excursions, routes to different hermitages, bike excursions, it is paradise for mountain bike lovers with a lot of circuits, getting to know the gastronomy of the area. Go to the beach, sightseeing tours of the most charming and picturesque towns on the Costa Brava. We have a train 15 minutes away, a bus station in town. We are 5 minutes from the town by car and 15 minutes walking.
  
  Durante su tiempo libre tienen muchas actividades, desde pasear para disfrutar del entorno, excursiones, rutas a diferentes ermitas, excursiones en bici, es el paraíso para los amantes del BTT con un montón de circuitos, conocer la gastronomía de la zona. Ir a la playa, visitas turísticas por los pueblos más encantadores y pintorescos de la Costa Brava. Tenemos tren a 15 min, estación de autobuses en el pueblo. Estamos a 5 minutos del pueblo el coche y 15min caminando.
