Description
Hi, I am British and I own a hostal and a pizzeria in Valparaíso on the Chilean coast. I have lived in Chile for ten years and have two boys who live with me. I started the hostel in 2007 having bought a house in the most attractive part of the town, and have been building up the business slowly. I think it is nice, it has an antique jukebox and a table soccer game in the living room. The restaurant which I started in 2004 is very near and I am always running between the two.

I am looking for someone to come and live for free in my hostal in return for helping out with recepcion and cleaning duties. I am thinking of about 30 hours a week in total - split between helping with cleaning and making beds etc. in the morning and manning reception in the evening.
I do really need someone with reasonable Spanish.

Accommodation
Either in a nice shared room which has a private bathroom and access to a small terrace, or a small private room. You will have free breakfast and obviously use of the kitchen the rest of the time.

Valparaiso is a really great, spectacular city with lots of nightlife, foreign visitors and things to see and do. Most people love it.

I stayed one month. Everybody at the hostel (Ed, Sole, Pame, Luis) are really kind and good people. The work is really fair, the hostel is an old house really beautiful, with a nice living room (with a Piano!) and great kitchen.
The place is perfectly located in Valparaiso.
