We are a small friendly meditation community living in caves in Almería, Southern Spain. We are run purely on donations, and open to anyone who wants to come and meditate with us.
Our hope is to grow our community into a thriving eco-meditation project, coupling meditation with re-wilding the land.
At the moment we don't own the caves we live in, but we do have the blessing of the local authorities to be there. Our hope is to buy some land nearby in the future.

You can learn meditation, cave dwelling, cave restoration, and community living with a lovely group of people. If you're enthusiastic then you can also help us to grow a thriving eco-meditation community!
At the moment we are primarily looking for someone to stay in the caves long-term (at least six months) to welcome new guests and to do a bit of cleaning (about an hour per day). This is especially important in times when our teacher is travelling and the community is quiet. You could think of it as being like a cave sitter, to look after the caves when there's not many people around.
We would also love volunteers with building skills to help renovate more caves, gardening skills to help us establish a veggie garden, and social media skills to help raise awareness of our project.
In addition to any work, all volunteers are asked to join our group meditation sittings at 7am and 7pm each day. You can use our meditation cave any time of the day or night if you would like to meditate longer!
