Description
Hi,
We are Tommy, Sheldon and Zach, 3 guys from England and Canada who bought a hostel in the Oaxacan surfers' paradise of Puerto Escondido. It's a big, colourful villa with a pool, in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of the beaches . The hostel offers an intimate atmosphere and attracts guests of all ages from all over the world, some of whom can end up staying for a long time or returning to stay with us.
Because plans tend to change so often, especially on the road, please contact us within a week of your potential/desired arrival date, we have no idea who we will need a month from now.

Puerto Escondido is a VERY cool town. Surfing is definitely one of the most popular activities, but there's more to Puerto than just surfing. Go out on the open water for a fishing trip and return not only with fresh caught tuna, but also up close interactions with dolphins and turtles. Learn how to dance salsa or take Spanish lessons at one of the excellent language schools. Go deep sea diving, snorkeling, kayaking, whale spotting or simply relax on the beach and dance the night away in one of the many bars. You will not be stuck for activities during your stay in Puerto Escondido, that's for sure!
The hostel is close to the best swimming beaches of Puerto Escondido and a 5 minute walk from the beginner/intermediate break at Playa Carrizalillo. We are just steps away from the Rinconada, which has a bunch of great restaurants ranging from Middle Eastern cuisine to seafood straight from the ocean, to pizza and even sushi. You can basically walk to anything that you need and taxis to nearby neighborhoods in Puerto Escondido cost only 40-50 pesos.Help

From day one you are actually a part of the family. The facilities are just awesome and I never found a hostel with such good vibes. Whenever there is a problem your coworkers or the manager and owner will help you out.

The job was easy, laid back, and never once I started my shift thinking "oh no, I have to work!".
I was always treated by the manager (Francesca, at the time) with respect and I felt my input was valued.

The hostel itself is probably one of the best we’ve been to in terms of layout, location and management. You really will enjoy your time there - guaranteed.

This is a wonderful place to do Workaway in Puerto Escondido. The accomodations is nice and the villa itself is beautiful, be careful if you have a fixed date, because you will love it here and probably stay longer :)

Thisl is one of the best hostels I have seen so far. I did paint a big mandala there in a private room. Jasmijn took care of all volunteers because Ross wasn't there during the time I stayed there. She is doing a great job and I got everything I needed.
I can just recommend you staying and working with those… read more

She has a great smile, a witty sense of humor and a super positive energy. She’s a bad ass in everything she tries to do, there’s no challenge that intimidates her. She’s dynamic, very smart, openminded and a lot of fun! She showed very high management skills, professionalism and great reliability, she basically always knows… read more
