  Description

  My name is Cata, I'm from Chile. I'm looking for help with renovating + taking care of my dogs, and I'm super interested in cultural exchange.
  
  I can offer a room with a twin bed and shared bathroom, as well as unlimited access to shared spaces.
  Amenities include:
  •Unlimited food access (to what we buy, if you want anything extra, you have to buy it yourself!)
  •Smart TV in room, with streaming services (Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney, etc)
  •Wifi (it's a big house, so the wifi doesn't reach everywhere that well, but it works!!)
  •Laundry machine & iron (no dryer)
  •Parking lot
  •Heater (no air conditioner)
  
  You would be treated as a family member :) We are very welcoming people, as we have had a few exchange students in our house before.
  
  We live in a very safe, residential neighbourhood, with a supermarket, shopping mall and a bunch of parks nearby. Located in Las Condes, Santiago, Chile.
  
  There are a lot of animals in our house, I have 3 dogs that are pretty big (very friendly) If you don't like dogs, this is NOT the place for you. Dogs rule this house hahahah. You'll need a bit of patience 🥹 We have a senior dog that has trouble retaining urine, so he wears diapers.
  
  RULES:
  •No smoking inside the house, outside is fine.
  •Inviting friends over is okay, but under agreed conditions
  •We don't really have a lot of noise restrictions, as I'm pretty noisy myself (I listen to a lot of music) but there will be occassions when we ask for silence, since my dad has work meetings once a week and sometimes works night shifts. (not often)
  •Clean up after yourself
  •No borrowing items that belong to others without permision.
  
  I'm renovating a part of the house, so I could really use some help painting walls/furniture. Not the boring way though!! I want to make everything pink and pretty haha, add some cute designs 🎀 We also need help with walking our dogs sometimes.
  
  About us:
  I'm a 23 year old female, who works sewing at home & I also study fashion design. I can speak Spanish, English & Korean! I can also handle a bit of german and I'm very interested in learning japanese.
  My parents are both doctors. My dad is 66, still works, my mom is 65 and a homeowner. My dad speaks spanish and english, and my mom speaks spanish and german.
  
  I'd be happy to give you tours around the city, and we have a house near the beach, in algarrobo, so we can go there too! :)

  I can teach you spanish , how to cook chilean dishes and we can just share our culture in general!! I'd love to show you around town and take you on tours
  I know some pretty good chilean food restaurants and beautiful locations we can visit! We can also travel to algarrobo, valparaíso and viña del mar :) I'm mostly interested in learning languages and cuisine from different countries

  Help

  As for dog walking, we can go together on most days :) Unless I have to be out all day, which is rare, but then you'd be on your own.
  
  About gardening, somehow all the trees in my front yard died, so I need help removing them all 😭 (backyard is okay, as seen in pictures)
  
  And if you can, I'd really like to get some help with painting the walls and furniture, as well as changing some electric outlets. I have no idea how to do that, lol.
  
  Otherwise, you could do chores of your liking; maximum 5 hours of work daily, 5 days a week.
  
  I'd be most comfortable if we help each other doing chores, rather than having you do everything by yourself!!

  2-3 year old mutt, she gets scared easily and hides from people. she is very cuddly with me, but does not enjoy being touched by other people. not aggresive, just shy

  5 year old american akita, very friendly and well behaved

  

  Kyle (12 years)

  12 year old belgian shepard, loves to cuddle! Doesn't understand the concept of personal space, though very cute.
