LOOKING FOR HELP TO PLANT URGENTLY IN MARCH

Active Permaculture & Regenerative Living in Huelva

    The Project & Philosophy

We are Edith and Martin, a retired and highly active couple who moved to this 5-hectare, tree-studded farm in March 2022. Our mission is to work with nature, not against it. We are currently focused on an ambitious "to-do list" centered on water retention and soil health to combat the long, dry Andalusian months.
We love to work hard, laugh a lot and witness every sunrise and sunset. If you enjoy physical work and seeing tangible results at the end of the day, you will love it here.

    The Work (Hands-On & Diverse)

We need volunteers who are ready to get their hands dirty. Our priorities shift with the seasons, but you will be involved in:
    * Earthworks: Digging holes for gabions, collecting stones and implementing swales.
    * Soil & Water: Spreading mulch, preparing planting areas and improving soil biology.
    * Land Maintenance: Cutting wild brush, collecting wood and planting fruit trees.
    * Gardening: Tending to our vegetable and herb gardens and many more challenging assignments.

Food & Life on the Farm

We believe in fueling our work with good food and a positive environment.
    * Meals: We provide a healthy, hearty cooked lunch every day. We are happy to cater to everyone from carnivores to vegetarians.
    * Self-Help: Breakfast and evening snacks are provided on a "self-help" basis, allowing you to follow your own rhythm in the mornings and evenings.
    * Accommodation: You will stay in a comfortable room within our main home. Please note that depending on our guest numbers, rooms may be shared with other volunteers.

    Who We Are Looking For

We welcome people with an open mind and a "can-do" attitude. The weather here can be extreme—very hot or quite cold—so resilience is key. We put a lot of effort into making sure your stay is meaningful; in return, we ask for your energy, your humor and your dedication to the land.
Join our team and help us create an island of meaningful existence.
Welcome to the farm and to yourself.
