Description
Hello!
We will have space available this spring.
I’m the parent of an 8-year-old boy named Noah, who is in second grade at our village school. We spent a year living in the jungle of Costa Rica, where Noah attended kindergarten. Now, we’re reintegrating into life with both English and French, the winter season, and a busier lifestyle. The idea of hosting a Workawayer excites me, as the traveler’s spirit aligns well with both me and Noah.
I’m looking for someone dedicated and willing to share their warmth and energy with our family. We value authenticity, positivity, and a vibrant spirit.
The main help I need is after school, when Noah enjoys heading down to the beach, biking, or playing ball. We have a small forest behind our home where he loves building treehouses and exploring his creativity. He speaks Spanish, English, and French, and ideally, I’d love for our guest to speak English with him to help strengthen his language skills.
Our home is just a short walk from the lake, where you can enjoy a sauna and cold plunge in winter or the beach and sunsets in summer. Nearby, there’s a cozy café, a couple of restaurants, and our village grocery store. We are a 20-minute drive from Sherbrooke. Public transportation is limited, but I have a car and regularly drive to town.
I’m a yoga teacher, artist, and coach. I love staying active, meeting new people, and exchanging ideas and perspectives.
Sharing meals is something I truly enjoy, so if you like cooking, I’d be happy to have you join in! To help cover food expenses, I ask for a small weekly contribution.
I’d love to host someone with an optimistic outlook who values family and connection. Both short- and long-term stays are welcome.
Since this is a family home, we create a space of warmth and harmony. A responsible, child-friendly attitude is essential. This is a drug- and alcohol-free environment.
I do prefer to host a female Workawayer.
We also have a small, loving dog.
Looking forward to meeting you soon! 😊Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
I’m looking for someone who is willing to share both household tasks and childcare with me. Noah is a bright, curious boy who loves to learn and spend time outdoors.
I deeply value communication and am always open to new ideas that can help improve the flow of our home. My goal is for you to feel comfortable and enjoy your time here. Arrive with motivation and an open heart! Each day is an opportunity to share your unique gifts, apply your knowledge, and contribute in a meaningful way.
The ideal person for our home is someone calm, dedicated, and kind-hearted.
I start my mornings early and love beginning the day with yoga.
