    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

During the volunteering time we also make sure that you experience the taste of our culture through sharing food recipe, traditional dances and other. We will also take the Volunteers to the Mbona Shrine known as Khulubvi Sacred Shrine. it remains an important spiritual place among the people of Mang'anja tribe who worship the spirit of Mbona, a legendary figure with super human powers who lived in the area during the rise of the Lundu Kingdom. Mbona is said to have had knowledge of medicine and magic, and had a gift bestowed upon him from the heavens to govern the rains by bringing rain, creating wells of water on sandy lands, creating forests where they did not exist and hiding from enemies by turning into other creatures such as guinea fowls.

We are looking for volunteers who are able to exchange skills, in this context we are looking for volunteers who are ready to learn from us and teach us what they know. We are very much interested to have volunteers who can build our capacities in fundraising, engaging in community work, web designing and marketing, planning and policy development. We always agree with the Volunteer during their first day in the Office on what to do. We are always flexible to discuss with volunteers their likes professionally to meet their expectation. We have the passion to satisfy our volunteers.

We also have a package for professional Development for recent graduates to take them through the non profit job. We would teach them a number of things such as Community work, Fundraising, Social work and Community mobilisation, counselling and many other social related topics.

Choosing us you will not regret your time
