    (Deutscher Text unten)

We are a colourful family who, together with volunteers from all over the world and other employees, run a project in the Angeln region, in the very north of Schleswig-Holstein in Oersberg. It is home to many different animals, such as horses and ponies, pigs, goats, sheep, poultry, cats, guinea pigs, dogs, etc. We also have various workshops and workshops for the children. In addition, we have various workshops and a large vegetable garden that provides us with fresh vegetables.

A non-profit runs our project and specialises in working with people with disabilities and children and young people. Groups from the region come to visit us and we offer them a varied and very individual programme. We take them to the animals and do creative things like handicrafts, painting, music and many other things. We do this with the idea of integrating all people in our society and giving them a place to feel comfortable. An important part of our work is the connection between humans and animals and the improvement of motor skills as well as social behaviour. Experiential education and individual education measures also take place here.

If you like to do handicrafts, then you are in the right place, because fences and stables have to be repaired and built, electricity has to be installed and paths have to be laid. But animal lovers and nature lovers are also very welcome, because there is always plenty to do with the animals and on the grounds (especially in the vegetable garden). If you like to work creatively, you have the opportunity to live out your creativity here, for example on our mosaic-wall or in preparing handicraft activities for the children's and youth groups.
We are also very interested in volunteers who want to help make our project possible over a longer period of time. We are especially looking for all-rounders who can also imagine living on the farm.

We look forward to hearing from you!

    What else ...

We are located in the most northern part of Germany in the beautiful countryside of Angeln. As we live quite close to the Baltic Sea and the River Schlei, both about 10 km away, there is the opportunity for nearly every kind of watersports like sailing, wind- or kitesurfing or just a trip to a sandy beach for a swim. The landscape invites for bicycle tours. The cities of Kiel (50 km) and Flensburg (35 km) both are worth a visit.
As a volunteer at our "farm" you can learn a lot about the life of a big family with some animals and homegrown vegetables...
If you are a trained rider you can the a ride on our pony.
