  Description

  The family is made up of Alain and Jacqueline, parents of Romain (13 years old), Lisa (10 years old) and Émilie (8 years old). Two years ago, we have acquired a farmhouse and a very large piece of land near Lyon. We are gradually learning to maintain the vegetable garden, create an orchard, take care of our three donkeys and our chickens.
  We welcome people who want to live our daily lives and get involved at different levels (with children, animals, in the vegetable garden, etc.). We are happy to meet people from other walks of life. It’s a great opening for our children.
  You will live with us and have a space of your own in the farmhouse with bedroom and bathroom. We provide you with board (végétarien) and lodging. You will also have access to public transport if you want to discover Lyon (35 min by bus). You will share our outings if you want.
  We would like to host people who have a sufficient level of French to be able to be understood by our children.
  
  La famille se compose d’Alain et Jacqueline, parents de Romain (13 ans), Lisa (10 ans) et Émilie (8 ans). Il y a deux ans, nous avons acquis un corps de ferme et un très grand terrain près de Lyon. Nous apprenons peu à peu à entretenir le potager, créer un verger, s’occuper des nos trois ânes et de nos poules.
  Nous accueillons des personnes souhaitant vivre notre quotidien et s’impliquer à différents niveaux (auprès des enfants, des animaux, dans le potager…). Nous sommes heureux de rencontrer des personnes venant d’autres horizons. C’est une ouverture formidable pour nos enfants.
  Vous vivrez avec nous et aurez un espace à vous dans la ferme avec chambre et salle de bain. Nous vous assurons le gîte et le couvert (végétarien). Vous aurez aussi accès au transport en commun si vous voulez aller découvrir Lyon (35 min en bus). Vous partagerez aussi nos sorties si vous le souhaitez.
  Nous souhaitons accueillir des personnes qui sont capables de se faire comprendre en Français par nos enfants.

  Help

  If you have gardening, cooking and animal care skills we are takers. However, if you are not qualified that is okay, there are many simple tasks like clearing, planting, simple animal care, time with the children.
  
  Si vous avez des compétences en jardinage, en cuisine et en soin pour les animaux nous sommes preneurs. Toutefois, si vous n’êtes pas qualifié ce n’est pas un souci, il y a beaucoup de tâches simples comme du défrichage, de la plantation, du soin simple aux animaux, du temps avec les enfants.

  Nous sommes disposés à améliorer le niveau de français de nos hôtes s’ils le souhaitent par des discussions adaptées à leurs niveaux ainsi que des conseils en grammaire et conjugaison. We are ready to improve the French level of our guests if they wish through discussions adapted to their levels as well as advice in grammar and conjugation.

  Accommodation

  You will have at your disposal a studio with independent entrance. It consists of a bed and a bathroom with toilet. There is also a kitchen area with kettle, fridge and microwave. Meals are taken together but depending on each other's schedules, you can also have breakfast in the studio.
  
  Vous aurez à disposition un studio avec entrée indépendante. Il est composé d’un lit et d’une salle de bains avec toilettes. Il y a aussi un coin cuisine avec bouilloire, frigo et micro onde. Les repas sont pris en commun mais en fonction de emplois du temps des uns et des autres, vous pouvez aussi prendre votre petit déjeuner dans le studio.
