    Description

We are a regenerative flower & botanical farm in Prince Edward County Ontario offering off-grid ecological experiences & immersive Scandinavian-inspired wellness.

Slowing down & reconnecting in Nature to learn new skills is what we’re all about. Whether you’re seeking mental space in Nature, a getaway to learn new skills or fulfill a desire to make a difference in protecting the Natural world, we invite you to immerse yourself in the experience on our 60 acre organic farm on our little beach studded island just 2 hours away from Toronto by train .

WorkAway candidates will be involved with several project including ReWilding 16 acres of our land to give back to Nature, replanting forests for the generations ahead, planting and harvesting medicinal botanicals from our expansive gardens,or building our eco-palisade featuring a 300' green wall demonstrating various natural building techniques. (begins mid May 2026!)

If you are a professional, strong, fit and passionate, we also have options for more social work greeting clients visiting our farm and overnighting in our Canadian Prospector tents.

We are looking for highly passionate WorkAwayers to help our mission to bring about social and environmental change. Whether helping in our Re-Wilding efforts with our gardens or getting hands-on experience in green building techniques from straw-bale walls to eco plasters, there is so much to learn and do!

We are passionate and experienced Green Building practitioners accredited in LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) , Photovoltaics & GHG quantification and are happy to share our skills and knowledge. Our focus is heritage preservation and green building practices focusing specifically on log building, timber framing, heritage plasters, mortars and clays.

We offer a beautifully resurrected off-grid, solar powered heritage lakefront log homestead from Canadian Confederation in 1867 with a full kitchen, bath, lounge and double fireplace all within a 10 minute walk to one of several amazing beaches and vineyards.

Our past work colleague is on a WorkAway in the Amazon right now and he recommended the people he is meeting there would be perfect for the work we do here!

We also heard WorkAwayers are more passionate and devoted than local staff which makes a huge difference in our day and our project.

If you are passionate and hard-working, please reach out and join our family run farm to make a lasting difference!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We believe the best work happens when people connect, share, and learn from one another. Our team is hands-on and always happy to work alongside Workawayers — whether that's walking you through our ReWilding initiative (we planted 7,000 trees in 2025!), or teaching organic gardening techniques in our flower fields and hop yard. Every day brings something different, and we love introducing people to skills they may never have encountered before.

We're passionate about forest stewardship, green building, and regenerative farming, and we're excited to share that knowledge with curious, motivated people. From hands-on conservation work protecting young saplings to tending our growing fields and welcoming guests at our camp, there's a role here for every kind of person — whether you're a builder, a gardener, a social butterfly, or a creative professional with skills in media, promotion, or design.

We are avid travellers ourselves and have a deep love of learning from the people we meet along the way. Workawayers bring their own stories, traditions, and perspectives, and that exchange is something we genuinely treasure. Come ready to get your hands dirtyand leave with new skills — and hopefully a few lasting friendships too.

    Help

In 2025 we planted 7000 trees as part of our ReWilding initiative and now urgently need workers to place biodegradable mats around the trees to protect the young saplings before the field over grows around them.

We also have a massive flower field and hop yard that workers can help with planting plugs, amending soil, fixing fences...

For those more outwardly social, we also run a camp where workers can greet guests and show them around the camp and farm. If you are a professional, we also have a huge need for promotion, media development, scheduling, you name it!

For those with building skills, we also are presently building a farm cafe and several saunas from a large mobile wood mill we have on site.

Remuneration is $18 per hour which is over minimum wage. Possible increases correlated with type activities performed.
