    Description

We are a Chilean family made up of Aurora, Martin, our children aged 6 and 3, 2 cats and 1 dog. We have been in Arica for 2 years and we are here for work. Martin works full time and I work Aurora on a flexible schedule. Both children go to school in the mornings. We live in a house with a backyard and a small garden, very close to the Mall de Arica and the bus terminal. We love meeting people from other countries, sharing cultures, cooking, taking trips around Arica (Valles de Azapa, Lluta, Camarones, Putre, etc.), going to the beach, sowing, planting, harvesting. . in our small desert garden 💚💛♥️

Me and Martin know how to speak English and we can practice Spanish with whoever you want. We also like to share Chilean data and anecdotes. We have learned about the ancient civilizations that lived here in Arica (Chinchorros) and we also know about other pre-Columbian civilizations in Chile.

    What else ...

Our house is very close to the Mall de Arica (shops and supermarkets), also close to the bus terminal (4 blocks). You can walk (15min) to the city center and there is a Chinchorro Mummies Museum (where you see them live and walk on them!) and there is the pedestrian entrance to Morro de Arica. We have 2 cars so on the weekends we can go for a walk together around Arica like we always do. We are also close to the beach, access to it on foot is about 15min.

At home we have 2 cats and a dog, with their vaccinations and deworming up to date. I, Aurora, am a veterinarian and I love animals, we have no problem if you travel with one, we only ask that you take care of their food and waste.
