We are a yoga cafe in Fort Kochi, Kerala in the beautiful south India. We are seeking someone to help with yoga classes for a few weeks to a month and possibility of extension. Our Cafe serves 100% plant based / vegan food with a western approach. We are all about promoting a cruelty free and loving environment to help create a more conscious community. At our yoga studio we teach 2 classes a day. We offer accommodation and 2 meals.

You will get to work with local staff and learn about their culture, how they live and you can even pick up some of the local language. The Yoga cafe is great for people who are interested to learn about plant based diets, variety of yoga styles and meditation which is also beneficial in expanding your spiritual knowledge.
We like to encourage travellers to live a more conscious lifestyle through our teachings and most importantly to not harm other beings, so all meals served will be 100% free from any animal products. Yoga classes are also encouraged to help free the mind, body, soul and feel more connected to the earth. Through this experience travellers will learn all about how to live a more sustainable lifestyle through conscious living, conscious eating, being eco friendly, caring for the planet, the people and the animals.
This work exchange is seeking someone who is looking to stay in one place for a few months and wanting to be apart of the community by helping out wherever possible. Help required could range from teaching some of the locals basic english words, talking to customers, learn about vegan food, sharing recipes, taking photos, getting people involved in yoga, preparing yoga classes, talking and interacting with the locals, caring for animals and helping build a kinder and more conscious community.
Nice and clean House in Fort Cochin. Double rooms with private bathroom. Rooms are single beds so you could be sharing with another person. cooking meals may be shared with other workers.
Plenty of things to do around Fort Kochi, it is a buzzing little tourist town with the beach near by, local markets, Chinese fishing nets, jew town, art galleries, churches, Kerala Folklore theatre and museum, Kathakali performance, yoga & meditation classes, visit the beautiful backwaters and go on a house boat. Immerse yourself in the culture, everyday in India is an adventure.
