Hi, we are Viola and Giorgio, a couple of young guys full of enthusiasm and desire to collect new experiences. We both grew up in a small town in the province of Bergamo, Italy. We have always been passionate about travel but especially in the last year we feel the need to get out of our comfort zone and test ourselves.

Hello, I’m Giorgio, I’m 20 years old. I graduated in June 2024 as a maintenance technician from a vocational school focused on manual labor. I studied mainly plumbing for 3 years and, in the following 2 years, I also learned some electrical work. I did several internships as a plumber, both in residential and industrial settings. Since September, I’ve been working at a company that deals with water treatment: I program, build, and install water softeners; install water dispensers; perform both routine and extraordinary maintenance on these systems, as well as on larger systems for companies; I can also carry out some plumbing interventions.
Hello, I’m Viola, I’m 24 years old and I graduated. I started working when I was 18 years old while finishing my last year of high school. I’ve worked as a bartender, in a factory, and finally as an educator in a community that hosts people with disabilities. Additionally, this year, I enrolled at the University of Bergamo in the "Education Sciences" program. I love working in the social field, especially trying to be helpful to people with vulnerabilities. Last year, we developed a passion for gardening, and in particular, we tried to create our small garden. It was a very rewarding and relaxing experience as it was an activity in close contact with the earth. However, we would like to acquire more skills in this field. Additionally, last year, we started volunteering at an animal shelter. We made ourselves fully available to the owner and tried to carry out the tasks that were asked of us to the best of our ability. Besides taking care of the animals—feeding them, walking the dogs, cuddling them, and dedicating time to them—we also took care of maintaining and cleaning the facility.

Was noch ...

A passion we share is trekking; we love taking moments to immerse ourselves in nature and silently contemplate its immense beauty. The mountains, in particular, give us a sense of serenity and a deep connection with the universe. Another activity that fascinates us is visiting new cities and immersing ourselves in their streets, museums, monuments, etc., full of history that makes us feel part of something greater.
