Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

I am trying to develop an educational "travel agency" which organises uncomfortable trips (i.e. trips bringing people out of their comfort zone) that have Workaway hosts as destinations.

Beschreibung

My name is Kevin, I'm Italian and I've got a bachelor's degree in science of education; hence: I'm an educator! Upon getting my degree, though, back in 2015, I realised I had been studying a lot of stuff on books, but didn't know a thing about myself, my inner self.

Thus, I said goodbye to everyone and took off to Finland, where I spent 9 months working as an Au-Pair and exploring all the surrounding states.
That time wasn't enough to find the answers to all the questions populating my mind. So I also did a one year Working-Holiday Visa between Canada and Alaska and a two-year period in New Zealand. It's right there, down in Oceania, that I finally found myself.

Those 5 years around the world taught me how crucial it is for everyone who aims to live a life not only as a human being, but also as a living being, to primarily find the inner compass. That only, I find, can guide us in making personal-orientated choices in that "Sea of Conditioning" we all daily navigate through.

That's why I'm now trying to combine my passion for educating others (that is: helping others understand the potential lying within them) with my love of travelling, which I find is one of the greatest educational gyms of all. My goal is to become a "travelling educator", creating an alternative travel agency that provides to customers:

- EDUCATIONAL TRIPS = i.e. trips that help travellers discovering themselves whilst discovering unfamiliar places and people. Trips which are therefore not organized and led by a tourist guide, but by an educator, who strives with different activities to transform participants from superficial humans being to more self-aware living beings.

- DISORGANIZED TRIPS = i.e. trips without a tight schedule to follow, experiences where participants can learn how to deal with boredom and accidents, to unveil the beauty and potential of serendipity.

- UNCOMFORTABLE TRIPS = i.e. trips that challenge participants to get out of their initial comfort zone to go back home inside a new, more flexible and broader one.

To test whether the idea is attractive and doable I'm preparing a three trips package for the upcoming summer and autumn. A three trips package that has in its core Workaway, because having abundantly used it myself, I genuinely believe it already embodies all the aforementioned characteristics and represents a gold mine I want to introduce other people to.
