The two weeks spent at Sophie's flew by! We worked at our own rythm and had relaxing times off sitting outside in this enchanting place filled with birdsong and surrounded by forest (the rooms in the house are very comfortable as well!). Sophie was a great host, attentive to our needs and very fun to be around! We shared many good moments together over delicious meals, and we learned a lot from her as well. All in all, we enjoyed the work and the laughs!

Roman is a great guy. we loved Having him. His work and help was Perfect. Great with the Childen and he is a very intresting and intelligent man. He is welcome bank anytime. If you want a Good man Roman is your Guy. We will all Miss you. Good Luck.

Smilla ist the greatest workawayer that you can wish for! She stayed in my house longer than actually planned, and I certainly didn’t want to let her go at all 😅 because having her support was incredibly precious. Smilla is an extremely kind and smart woman, most sincere and reliable. Her help was very efficient. She is very organized and a self starter. She sees when there is something to do, gets it done and is very respectful at the same time. She helped me with a move, but most importantly did a great job renovating/ painting indoor and outdoors with different jobs around the house: wooden panels, a wooden door, a metal fence. Smilla, I wish you the greatest and most enriching experiences during your travels and of course happily welcome you back anytime you wish. I am sure you will make great friends everywhere you go- you are simply so amazing to have around 🥰 the best of Luck to you always 🍀🍀🍀🍀💜

It was a pleasure to share a few days with Ellen & Thea. She was enjoying a break from her job, traveling south Spain. She's friendly, easy-going, and adaptable. You can rely on her and the well-behaved dog. I hope you are having a good time wherever you are here in Spain.

Das waren für mich zwei sehr schöne und interessante Wochen in den Haute Corbieres! Régine hat die Begeisterung für die Landschaft und das Leben dort nicht verloren, und ich konnte daurch sehr viel teilhaben daran. Neben Arbeiten im Garten und am Zaun der Gite waren es viele schöne Wanderungen, Marktbesuche, ein Konzertbesuch, ein Ausflug nach Narbonne, Besuche bei Freunden und Bekannten und Gespräche, die mir das Gefühl gaben, Teil der Gemeinschaft zu sein und kein Fremder. Ich bin mit sehr reichen Eindrücken (und einem Bild einer Künstlerin aus Termes ) wieder abgereist. Merci à Régine et tous les autres!

Nous avons contacté Dina à la dernière minute pour proposer nos services et dès le lendemain nous validions notre venue prévue 2 jours plus tard. Leur accueil a été super, nous sommes venus en couple avec deux enfants (8 et 9 ans) et nous avons tous été très bien accueillis, aussi bien par Dina que sa maman Ginette (petit plus pour nous, elle parlent toutes les deux français). Nous travaillions le matin, comme convenu quatre à cinq heures par jour et nous mangions ensemble à chaque repas. Les repas, les échanges en tout genre étaient très enrichissants, aussi bien au niveau de la culture, du mode de vie, de la cuisine, du bien-être et les soins alternatifs. Nous étions logés dans la yourte avec toilettes sèches, le poêle à bois 🔥 ( et même le chauffe-eau au feu de bois pour la douche🚿) Dina nous a également conseillé sur les randonnées à faire aux alentours de chez elle et les lieux à visiter pour la suite de notre voyage. Nos enfants ont apprécié le grand air chez elles, les animaux (chiens et chats) ainsi que les temps de jeu avec Ginette. Nous recommandons vivement ses hôtes pour un workaway !! I had a great time at Anssi’s place! He is a very cool and funny guy and he is full of stories. I stayed for about a week and helped him organise his storage and did some shovelling and cutting some firewood. We went snow machining, ice fishing and had good sauna. He was a great host and I hope to return some day!

Anno was a great guest! She spent lots of time with our kids, enjoying the winter break. She is very cooperative and friendly. We learned many new things about Japan and the lifestyle there. It was really nice time together! Absolutely yes for hosting😉

Arti has a very good level in English and Spanish, he was eager to learn the language and succeeded brilliantly. When you asked him to do something and explained what tou needed, he gets the job done. We had good talks about philosophy and we wish him well. 😊

I stayed a bit more than 3 weeks in Kelaa teaching French, including some time during Ramadan. Teaching was a good experience, the students were highly motivated and involved. Nonetheless, it was only a few hours a week, so if you want to keep busy you'll have to make to make friends around. Communication was fast and easy with Hassan. Kelaa is a none touristy city so there is not so much to do but you'll be free to discover Marrocan life in a genuine way. The staff was overall very kind and tried to provide us with whatever we need. Thanks to Yassine especially;) The accommodation is basic but fine. Personally I was overall happy with my stay there. I sometimes wished to be have more to do and be more involved with the teaching, other than that it was all good !

Pasé tres semanas con Javier y Dácil y ha sido una experiencia brutal. Desde el primer momento te hacen sentir parte de su hogar, con una cercanía y autenticidad que marcan la diferencia. Tuve la oportunidad de participar en la bioconstrucción de una cocina, y fue increíble ver cómo algo va tomando forma con tus propias manos día a día. Además, compartir la experiencia con otros voluntarios suma muchísimo: se crea un ambiente muy bonito, de apoyo, risas y conexión real. El lugar y el ritmo de vida invitan a parar, reconectar y salir del automático. Me llevo mucho más que lo construido: aprendizajes, momentos y una sensación muy real de haber vivido algo especial. Gracias de corazón, Javier y Dácil, por abrir vuestro hogar y compartir vuestra forma de vida con tanta autenticidad.

My stay in Seoul was truly amazing. This cultural program is a wonderful opportunity to meet local residents and see the city from a unique perspective. Dennis is a very helpful and easy-going host, and the atmosphere in the center is always positive and welcoming. The location in Hongdae is perfect for exploring. I loved every moment of my stay and met so many great people. Definitely a 10/10 experience! I really miss Korea and all the friends I have made~

This workaway is super awesome! This was my first ever workaway and i can tell it will not be my last if they are all great like this! Very well organized project! Loved that we had a lot of time to explore the island due to not working on the weekends! In the beginning I personally moved some rocks like most volunteers do but then i went into a painting project! I only stayed there 1 month but i will definitely remember it forever!

Anna Brouwers thankyou so much for helping me here in our dream project. You guy's were the first work away volunteers in our place. We dance together at our 10 days events for showing the cultural events. Remember we took a picture that you guys made the bamboo trail is still good in condition . I hope Whenever you are in Nepal you Will visit us 🙏🙏 may god bless you forever

manuel is a nice guy polite from amazing place. patagnia. the work was simple and he did it for arounf 3-4 hours a day. we talk about his place. i was curious.

This family allowed me to live days of relaxation, calm and beauty. The house is very nice, Nîmes is at hand and so are plenty of walking natural paths and beautiful towns. Aurélie and Eric gave me the chance to taste a different way of cooking based on organic vegetarian raw food and to learn much in nutrition and cuisine. An experience that I suggest to everybody!

You have been such a helpful and wonderful volunteer, your mural is absolutely amazing and has become a special part of this place. The children were so happy with the face painting you taught them, it was such a joyful moment for all of us. Lydia.... She is superb.. And very creative person. We experience with her almost 10 day and we feel so happy working with her... Not only as a volunteer but feels as a family member. Her commitment with the task given is so superb. She willing to learn in handling and dealing with machine and tools. Thank you so much and Do come again to our place!

Alejandr and Alonso... Bothbeen here almost 2 week. Both of them are so commit with the task given and helping a lot a lot day and night. Ale and Alonso willing to learn and explore theirs creativity in any task and materials given. All of us here really enjoy working together and feeling like a family with both of them and the others volunteers. I do recommend to any host . To Ale and Fernanda... We miss both of you and do come again at anytime. What you did in the history of Malaysia. Thank you so much!!

Elias stayed with us for the whole of March along with another Workawayer. He is a social, friendly person and settled into our routine very well. While Elias had no experience he made up for it in willingness and enthusiasm. During March they planted over 150 bare root bushes, built a new shed for the honesty box ‘egg shed’, looked after the hens, feeding , cleaning and egg collecting. Walking and playing with our 3 dogs as well. Elias also got stuck into helping building marquee tents for a bbq party weekend…. Always willing to help It was a pleasure to host Elias and I’d recommend him happily
