My experience with Valle at el campo in el Arrecife de Córdoba was quite unique. Valle has alot of knowledge about primaculture and gardening. I enjoyed working with her and sometimes on my own while she was busy with her own things. I enjoyed doing some painting too in the house . Staying in a village like el Arrecife was quite relaxed and tranquil for me since I like nature and silence. In the village even walking distance or using bicycle, necessity shops like pharmacy, mini market, some bars and restaurants were found.

Padel is the kindest person ! We asked him if we could come only 2 days before and he accepted even though the weather was not too good and we couldn't do any work on the farm, we had such a wonderful peaceful time, padel is very funny and took us to see really nice place and views on top of mountains, Ancient Greek history that he explained to us very well and waterfalls. I really really enjoyed my time with him and hopefully see you in October ;)

I had a truly wonderful week with Akke in Ngunguru. The Tutukaka Coast is a hidden gem and so is Akke's little place. Work was all manageable and flexible. Akke is delightful company and cooks very delicious food. Great first workaway !

We had an amazing week staying with Thomas and Jasmin! They are really kind and helpful. They gave us lots of tips on exploring the area (lovely in winter). We shared our dinners and had lots of interesting discussions about life, travels, personal thoughts. It was very interesting to share our cultures. They both are hardworkers but always smiling and take time for workawayers ! We helped them to renovate, and prepare the garden for spring. Thank you so much for this stay !

Martino is an excellent boy, very polite, easy to live. He coped with the rules of the house immediately and we had a very good time together. He is Smart and funny too! You will be pleased to host him, no hesitation. Yves

Voici pourquoi vous devriez la solliciter : Le cadre de vie : Le Gers est une région sublime, et la maison de Françoise est un véritable havre de paix. C’est l’endroit idéal pour se ressourcer, loin du tumulte des grandes villes, tout en profitant d'un grand jardin magnifique. La diversité des missions : On ne s'ennuie jamais ! Entre les petits projets de bricolage et la compagnie des poules et du chien, les tâches sont variées et très gratifiantes. C’est parfait pour ceux qui aiment voir le résultat concret de leur aide. L'échange humain : Françoise n'ouvre pas seulement sa porte, elle ouvre son cœur. Ayant elle-même des enfants qui ont "quitté le nid", elle a un sens de l'accueil maternel et bienveillant. My experience with Nikola and Ronya was excellent. Enthusiasm in helping and in being themselves, nice conversation and curiosity. They are strong and precise in the job and also respectful.they really support us! Fully raccomended!

A big thank you to Emily, Mike, Kikko, and Jason for the most amazing winter! I feel so lucky and grateful to have been part of the team! The job was busy, fun, and the teammates were amazing. If you are a team player who wants to help, bring good vibes, and are hard-working, this cafe is for you!

I had a great time staying with Jean and Marion. They have a beautiful family and house and I felt very lucky to have been able to stay with them. They were very responsive and gave loads of great recommendations for exploring the local area. J'ai bien Aimée mon séjour avec Jean et Marion. Ils ont une belle famille et maison et j'avais de la chance d'avoir resté avec eux. Ils communiquaient bien et m'ont donné plein de recommandations pour explorer la région locale.

I got a warm welcome by M and T and enjoyed my time here overall , I got a bit overwhelmed by the heat at first but slowly got used to it . Any differences or misunderstanding we had we could discuss in a productive manner. I got invited to a local party and it was a lot of fun to meet their friends. the works was easy and unfortunately too little as the guesthouse was a going a bit slow because of the conflicts with Thailand. Rest assure it's a very safe place and the village you stay in is a great way to get in touch with locals and authentic Khemer life. You get to enjoy the beach, kayaking, and while you're working have a few drinks. so definitely recommend this experience and M and T as hosts.

Very kind workawayers and great cultural exchange. They were with us for two weeks and helped us with the garden and cooked a delicious typical Iranian dish twice. Both were very helpful and independent. Sometimes we had to get used to each other's pace of work. We had a great time together and I recommend these Workawayers to everyone.

Talissa was only supposed to stay for a week or so, but I asked her to extend her stay, and she ended up staying for about a month. Not only that - afterwards, I invited her back to do house-sitting while I was away. That alone shows how much I trust her: I left her my house, car, and cat for a month and a half. She took perfect care of everything, and when I returned, everything was spotless. She also drove me to and from the airport, which was a great help. On top of that, Talissa is great company, exceptionally well organized, and an excellent cook. I wouldn’t hesitate to host her again anytime, or to leave her the keys knowing everything would be in good hands.

No es nada fácil expresar todo lo bueno que se puede decir de Martina. Es una persona increíblemente empática, atenta y trabajadora, de esas que uno siempre quiere tener cerca. Tanto en las tareas diarias como en el trato con mis animales, los huéspedes y los vecinos, Martina muestra siempre una gran sensibilidad y mucho cariño. Todo el pueblo la lleva en el corazón, y cuando se fue, cayeron muchas lágrimas. En Chamorga no solo ayudó, sino que encontró un verdadero hogar.

Enes stayed with us around 2 months and you can see the difference in the finca. He works and with a sincere will to help. He is very reliable, quiet and friendly. A blessing for every host!

I had a wonderful time during my stay with the family! From the moment I arrived, I was met with warm hospitality from the whole family and fellow volunteers, and I immediately felt right at home. I’ll never forget my first conversations with the little girls—I asked them a few questions in English, not really expecting an answer since I was both a stranger and speaking their second language, but they responded without hesitation in the most adorable voices! Most of my shifts were spent with Miku, the eldest daughter, whom I was tasked to pick up from the bus stop after daycare. While she was understandably a little shy at first, she quickly warmed up to me, and we had lots of fun laughing and playing games during our walks home. We often played make-believe or drew together while waiting for the rest of the family to arrive, during which she was always well-behaved and easy to care for. Finally, I need to give a huge thank you to Megumi-San and her husband, who made my time in Sapporo truly unforgettable. Megumi is the sweetest host, who asked me many questions about my life and taught me a lot about Japanese culture! She is a generous and funny person, and it is inspiring to see her tackle the daily challenges of raising three young children (while working!) with such grace and empathy. Additionally, while I could not speak with her husband due to the language barrier, he was kind enough to take me and a fellow volunteer skiing one day (a bucket list item for me!) and I enjoyed watching his loving dynamic with the children. Maria stayed with our family for a few weeks and we grew fond of her in a short time. She has such a positive outlook on life, enjoys a good laugh, is very easy to get along with and is a keen and competent worker regardless of the task. We wish her many happy WorkAway experiences.

I had the best experience volunteering at the café. You can learn so much about Korean habits and lifestyle through the language exchanges. ​I was really lucky to meet so many people who are now lifelong friends (hopefully). The house is in a vibrant, youthful neighborhood with incredible food, and it’s only a 20-minute walk to the heart of Hongdae (go to Snickers Burger Club for the best smash burgers. Thank me later😉). ​Dennis is a fantastic host: always helpful, approachable, and ready with the best local recommendations. He truly cares about the volunteer experience. I really hope to come back one day! 감사합니다, 사장님🫶🏻

Anaïs et son copain ont gardé notre maison et notre chat pendant 15 jours. Ils se sont aussi occupés du jardin pour le préparer pour les plantations. Ils nous ont aidés à faire un vide grenier et ont été très efficaces. Ils sont très sympathiques, toujours joyeux et facile à vivre. Bref nous les recommandons !

We had such a wonderful two weeks with Rita! She's a kind soul and she is surrounded by her adoring family and pets. We started each morning with breakfast together and ended each day with dinner, sometimes with her young grandsons breezing in for a bite. Other days we had dinner with her family and it felt like a fiesta. Her amazing dogs and cat are all so friendly and sweet. We'd love to take them home with us , but we have no room in our suitcases! 😂 Tom took on handyman projects and I did some miscellaneous chores and cooked dinners. Rita is very easy going and warm, and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations (and pisco sours and wine!) around the table. This workaway experience felt like being at home with family.
