  We welcome you to stay for 1-2 weeks☀️
  
  We are a Finnish family living in the peaceful and beautiful countryside. We have three children (ages 4, 9 and 11)
  
  Accommodation is in a private cozy lakeside cabin about 100 meters from our home – a perfect place for someone who enjoys nature. The cabin has no electricity or running water, these are provided from the main house. The lake next to the cabin is great for swimming and stand-up paddleboarding.
  
  We provide you with a daily meal and flexible working hours can be agreed together.
  
  You’ll also have the chance to explore nearby villages and experience authentic local life in the Finnish countryside. There are bus connections from the nearest town Joutsa to Jyväskylä (1 hour) and Helsinki (2 hours), so exploring further is easy too.
  
  Help may include, depending on your interests:
  • Household chores (cleaning, cooking)
  • We’re also open to creative ideas and personal projects!

  Unterkunft

  Lakeside summer cabin: A cozy, simple one room cabin about 100 meters from our home, surrounded by nature. It has no electricity or running water, but is perfect if you enjoy peaceful, off-grid living. The cabin has a bed, table, fireplace, and basic supplies. Bedding and towels are provided. There’s an eco-toilet nearby.
  
  Sauna, washing clothes, water, electricity and food are provided from the main house.

  Was noch ...

  We live about 20 km from nearest town. In town you will find grocery shops, library, art exhibitions, coffee shops, local events. We can provide a ride to town and sight. From the nearest town, you can easily hop on a buss and get to the capital of Finland Helsinki, Jyväskylä or maybe Rovaniemi to see the Santa Claus? 😄
