Within the borders of Amsterdam, in the largest natural landscape in the city is our nature camp. We offer activities for children during the day time and conduct research on regenerative living.
The best of both worlds: a bike ride away from the vibrant city and a quiet rural area and private forest!

Travellers get to enjoy the vibrant city of Amsterdam plus a nature retreat at the same time. Our space lies in the middle of 700 hectares of rural land within Amsterdam postcode and there are many farms of all kinds.

Unterkunft
Accommodation is in cosy caravans or very large independent tents at a camping place. You may also bring your own caravan or tent. In the colder months, accommodation is in a private room in a shared house.
Shared toilets and showers. Camping experience is a big plus. You can borrow a bike to get around.
Meals are included. Vegetarian and non vegetarian. Special food is at your own expense. We are a friendly transient community that respects your time and encourage independence. Everyone is free to choose to organise and join meals/ gatherings or cook at their own times.

Only looking for people who are there for the experience and therefore committed for 4-5 hours a day and *do not* have another job (requiring physical presence). Not really suitable for families with toddlers or babies.
The space is very quiet at night. Wireless internet is available (not super fast). Amsterdam center is a few kilometers away. We have some bikes available for borrowing.

we were very happy to have hosted Monique for a few weeks. Monique is very efficient, direct and to the point in everything she does. This was great help for us. She is great with wordpress and has a lot of knowledge about dogs. Monique you are always welcome. All the best in your travels!

This place was amazing, was our first experience in WorkAway and was better than we expected, Claudia was amazing, she give us everything that we needed, food and accommodation was very good, we sleep in a middle of a little and private forest with an amazing view, they was very respectful and warm, definitely and amazing place to work away.

Without doubt Patricia was one of the best camp counsellors we ever had. She is responsible, dedicated, organized, and super caring, loving and fun! Kids swarmed around her and loved her so much. I was camp counsellor for the last five weeks and it was a time filled with joy, happiness and love. Every day was full of new adventures, games, art and crafts, nature excursions and happy children. Volunteering here gave me a lot of energy and new inspiration. It feels like my second home, thank you for this amazing experience!
