  Hey! We are a safari provider and lodge, a small and personal company based in Arusha, Tanzania. I am Hilde, the owner for 30 years. Together with my son Robin and my 2 sales employees Lara and Jenna we manage everything here in Arusha. We plan the Trips for mostly German speaking tourists, so it would be good if you speak German to do the volunteering with us.

  First, because we mostly have German speaking customers we would like someone who is speaking German.
  During your exchange you will work together with our local team which brings very close to the African culture. You will experience how everyday life in Tanzania works, we have different teams in our small company and you will get a look in all of them. If you are interested you can get cooking classes in our Lodge, join safaris and hiking tours. We think its a nice combination of work and adventure. Everybody in our team speaks English and is open to meet new cultures and new people aswell.
  
  In your free time you can explore the incredibly beautiful nature on your own.

  Your tasks if you come and volunteer with us:
  You help us to welcome our guests on their arrival day, show them around in our Lodge and in the area. You can join them on day trips and assist our guides (after some trips you can be the tour guide for smaller trips)
  
  and/or
  
  You are also good in taking pictures and writing? We also need some help with our social media. While your time with us in Arusha you have a lot of opportunities to take nice pictures and tell people what you learned in this time. So - if you enjoy work like this you are welcome to help us with out social media profiles and they website. You would do this Job together with Lara.

  Unterkunft

  While your stay you have your own small flat with a small kitchen, a bathroom, a small living room and a bedroom. The flat is close to the office and also to Hildes place. Your flat is close to town in a nice and save area, you can reach cafes, supermarkets and local markets in walking distance.
  
  Our Workawayers get free breakfast every day and free dinner when we have guests in our Lodge.
  
  We don't charge anything to our Workawayers.

  Was noch ...

  Tanzania may has more to offer than you think. In your free time you can do some outdooractivities in and around arusha, there are some hikes you can do and waterfalls you can visit. You can go for a coffee in a nice Cafe or to Bars with live music in the evenings. Furthermore you can visit some of the markets in arusha and schools or daycare centers.
  In adjustment you can get some more days off to explore the places which are a bit more far. You do a trip to Lushoto, a small village in the Usambara mountains or visit the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar.
