Beschreibung
Before high season starts we are always in need of people who can help us with renovating houses, outside areas or trimming the tropical garden.
You should be able to undertake some renovations by yourself or being a helper of a local worker.
We are looking for helper who are willing to stay at least 3 weeks or longer.

We are a resort focused on health and fitness on Koh Mak, an island with a very welcoming local community. Koh Mak is a small and very quiet island. Our resort area is quite big and there's a lot of things to do in our houses and in the garden. Our staff and helpers on site are flexible, creative and willing to do different sorts of tasks.
We are focused on health and fitness - our place is vegan and smoke-free.
If you are looking for a quiet, natural place - Koh Mak will be a perfect choice for you.

There's a nice community of longstaying guests, volunteers and nomads from all over the world on Koh Mak. They are part of the local community and joining all kind of activities together, like Muay Thai boxing, Thai cooking, Thai Dye with local made colours and Thai language classes. If you are open minded and friendly you will be part of the Koh Mak community instantly.
Arbeit
The tasks that need to be done are very diverse, so we need people willing to adapt to our needs. We also ask our volunteers to be independent, with initiative, and able to see where tasks needs to be done.
Some examples of tasks we need help with would be:
- Gardening: tree cutting, replanting, cleaning areas
- Maintenance
- Cleaning rooms and common areas
There are also on-going and future projects for our resort! At the moment, we are renovating one of the huts and garden. We also want to arrange an area to have chicken.
The helping times depend on the tasks that need to be done and finished, so you need to be flexible.

Unterkunft
Single and shared rooms with ensuite-bathroom (no air-condition, but fans are provided). You can prepare your meals in a shared kitchen area and we provide ingredients (vegan) for breakfast and lunch.

There a lot of activities to do on the island like: diving, snorkeling, kayaking, biking, muay thai boxing, yoga, tennis, badminton, cooking and more :-)

Wir bekamen Inputs zu den Aufträgen und durften danach selbst entscheiden wie wir alles angehen möchten.
