  I live with my cat and work from home 3 days per week, otherwise from Melbourne.
  
  I am from Ireland originally. My background is in philosophy but I’ve always worked in IT and telecoms.
  
  I’ve lived and worked in Ireland, UK, Denmark, Germany and Australia.
  
  I’ve raced my bicycle since I was in school but now I am trying to become a fast runner!
  
  I have always been interested in aviation and like to fly small aircraft.
  
  I really enjoy learning languages and at the moment I am focused on Spanish but want to get back to German at some stage!
  
  The house itself is a 3 bedroom house with large garden in Castlemaine. 10 mins walk to train station and 5 mins to the town.

  I like to share my day to day activities together in the house. This includes morning walks, sitting down for lunch and dinner. There is also a vibrant social scene in the town which I would like any visitor to be part of.
  
  I am Irish and have been here 15 years.
  In my spare time I run and cycle. I also like to fly airplanes.

  Because I used to work in Copenhagen when I was younger I had some Danish but it was actually not until COVID that I took the time to really study properly and get to a good level. I still go back to Copenhagen almost every year and enjoy the vibe and people there. About 2 years ago I started studying Spanish as well and love that even more! My reading and listening is pretty strong but I need some speaking practice! I had an apartment in Düsseldorf for work at one stage so I am also trying to focus on German whenever I have time but it sometimes can be more like you’re confusing your own brain if you try to switch when learning languages!

  Unterkunft

  3 bedroom house with large garden. Cat lives here with me but she is pretty relaxed and does her own thing mainly. I cook and can accomodate most dietary requirements but I would also like to learn new dishes and skills from others. I like to keep my routine and cook daily, which means breakfast lunch and dinner. I prefer if the guest joins me for these meals.
