I had a relaxing time at Henry's cabin which was plenty for one person. It was nice and cozy! And just a few steps out is the lake, although it is winter, I still had a lot of fun with misty mist. Henry was away when I was staying there, but he nicely dropped me to the ferry terminal which helps a lot. There was not much to do other than tidying

Henry took me in last minute in his lovely house in Vancouver. He made me feel safe and confortable from the start. He's quite chill and easy to talk to. The work was easy and Henry wasn't demanding. The neighbors, Tanis and Matt, are also super friendly and kind - gave me some great recommendations for what to do on the island! I also got to meet a few of Henry's really sweet friends, and spent plenty of time swimming, hiking, and seeing some pretty spectacular views/landmarks. If you do get to stay with Henry, I would recommend coming by car because there is so much to see and do on the island ~ it's a lot larger than I originally thought! We stayed at Shawnigan Lake for three weeks, planned were 6 weeks but we had to leave early cause Henry needed the house back for other things.

We did meet Henry a couple of times, a decent and nice person. He seems to be an easy going person, we mostly helped him out in the garden, just some light work like weeding and we also cooked dinner a couple of times.
