Staying with Evelyn and John was an amazing experience. From the very first day to the last, I felt completely at home. The food was excellent—both lunch and dinner were always plentiful and varied, with delicious homemade dishes.

During the weekend, they also took me around Auckland, showing me different parts of the city and explaining a bit about its development and history. We stopped for coffee and meals in some lovely local spots, which made the experience even more authentic and enjoyable.
I truly enjoyed my time there and especially appreciated the chance to help John with repairing agricultural machinery—it was a great learning opportunity and something I found very satisfying.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and rewarding Workaway experience!
Jacob was with us for two weeks helping my husband to repair his farm machinery - digger and tractors and our VW diesel car. He was so willing to work and did way more than was expected of him. He was a real pleasure to host - polite, unobtrusive and tidy. He appreciated everything we did together as a family and fitted in very well. I would love

Meredith stayed with us for 3 weeks and after a few days of showing her the routine with the dogs, puppies and other farm animals she looked after them and the house perfectly while we went away on our Christmas holidays for 2 weeks. Meredith was amazing with the care of the dogs and puppies and running the house and farm. She took care of any

Tess and Jo are a beautiful couple in every way. They are so friendly, helpful and chilled. They put their hand to anything we asked and loved our dogs and puppies. They joined in all our family activities and became part of our family.

Evelyn and John are two of the kindest people. We had such a lovely time with them and enjoyed trips and their company on times off! The work is mainly outside,weather permitting and there is a watering hole nearby you can swim in to cool off, which we did most days. It is impossible not to fall in love with them! Annelieke and Lennard were great to have here helping us sand down our old campervan. Annelieke was a God-send as she was able to look after our 3 dags and a new litter of 6 puppies while we away on holiday for 2 weeks. We stayed a month with Evelyn and John. 2 weeks with them working on the campervan and 2 weeks of house and petsitting. They are very welkoming and really helpfull. We switched our car for a van and with fixing it up we could use their tools for it. The puppy's were great and so cute! We will miss this place.
