… read more "children"; always introducing me to the new puppie-parents and inviting me to join the meetings with them; supporting dear 12 year old Enya on her last journey to dogheaven..... I realize and still appreciate her confidence, letting me take care of all these gorgeous fourlegged creatures and letting me share the unconditional love and loyalty of those precious treasures. Shannon, Enya, Mimi, Luna, Justin, Greta, Toffee, Pia, Paul, Ginger and Kati.... I will carry you eternally in my heart and soul! Jolanda was a very good help, she's honest, reliable and hard working. She was excellent with the puppies and adult dogs. You don't need to tell her twice what needs to be done, she just does it. Also great help in setting up the garden. Jolanda is polite and well behaved, she appreciated everything I cooked for us. I wish her well in her journey

Anne is very good company and helpful as good as she can. We had a great time, lots of laughter and we went thru a few "unforeseen circumstances" with a good sense of humour....
She didn't mind dirty tasks and was very honest and reliable. I am wishing her all the best for her journey around the globe and can recommend Anne highly.

I had a fantastic time spending 3 weeks with Sibylle and her beautiful dogs and cats. My help was needed to look after the dogs primarily, including ten beautiful puppies, (only three weeks old when I arrived).
I'd never done this kind of work before but Sibylle gave clear instructions and I was able to do what she needed with very little

Sibylle was a lovely host, gave me good accommodation (sometimes in the holiday apartment - all to myself!) lovely food and took me out whenever possible; walking with the dogs in the woods and by the lake, shopping and sightseeing, sometimes to the pub :) and a picnic at a fabulous beach. I also met some of her friends and was made to feel very welcome and 'at home' with her.
I am happy to say we have become friends through this experience and I hope to visit her again in the future - I would recommend Sibylle as a host to anyone, particularly if you like well behaved dogs, friendly cats and eating well :)Du kannst nur Workawayer mit aktiver Mitgliedschaft kontaktieren.

Sybile rescued me from a bad workaway experience in Cong. Since the first moment we connect very well and she let me helping her with the dogs and the puppies even when I had only almost two weeks more in Ireland before my return flight. I shared a few days with another workaway, Katharina, who is very nice people too. The job with the puppies was
… read more easy and not hard. They are so lovely! And I liked the walks and chats in the forest with Sybile and the other dogs. Sybile is a perfect Host, she is very kind and we shared a lot of time, she showed me the beautiful area, the pub with his "private" live music, and I practise a lot of English! I learnt a lot about dogs, the life in Ireland, and also new recipes!
The cottage is 30 minutes walking to Cong through a beautiful forest, 5 min by car. It is cute and I felt there like at home. And the apartament upstairs is nice and easy to clean. Also you can speak with the guests.
