We are looking for a non smoking single or couple 24+ to come and help us in our house and garden. The room is a self contained unit. We provide healthy food and share a meal in the evening. BYO alcohol or snacks.

We are set into the bush against the National Park on Magnetic Island, close to beaches for swimming, diving, fishing and snorkelling. There are lots of great walks nearby. Our garden is host to native animals such as koalas, echidnas and wallabies. Our home is an open design timber pole frame. We have an established bush garden , pool, small dog and chickens. We are currently needing some help with cleaning and gardening. We have extensive local knowledge and love to share our special home with visitors. The work is offset by good food, peaceful and interesting surrounds and plenty of time to explore the Island. Non smokers and 24+ years old only please. Couple or single.
A longer term stay could be negotiated for someone with construction experience.

This place is in a World Heritage listed area with marine and National Parks right beside us. We are long term Island residents and have lots of local knowledge to share. We enjoy cooking and provide good, healthy meals.
Arbeit
Currently need help with household cleaning, gardening and cooking. You will need to be fit and strong and able to handle working in hot, humid conditions (standard weather here October to March). The house is set up to catch the breezes and there is a swimming pool and fans. No aircon.

Ange was a respectful and quiet guest. She gave her best efforts to all tasks which ranged from gardening to house cleaning. She worked independently once tasks were clear. Ange also looked after our place for a few days while we were away. She left it lovely and clean and the chickens happy.

Nairara was a wonderful companion and worker. She was respectful, kind and helpful and very easy to have around. Her cheerful enthusiasm was lovely. Nairara worked to complete a refurbishment of an out door setting and did some cleaning - everything done to a high standard. We would recommend hosting her and would welcome her back anytime.
