Hi! We are Ángela , Javi , Sofía and our dog Sid.
We are restoring an old house in Fíos with 1000 m² of land. It has been our dream for many years and it’s a true adventure where we learn with every step we take. “Little by little” is our motto.
We are part of an eco-village located a 15-minute walk from our home.
We dream of creating a lively, self-sufficient space in harmony with nature, combining sustainable practices and growing food for our own consumption. We are requesting help solely with tasks around our personal home.
We value respect for nature, the environment, and kind coexistence with others, creating a sense of community.
Our house is located in the Sueve valley, very close to Arriondas, in a peaceful and magical rural setting surrounded by forests, mountains and rivers. We are also very close to the Picos de Europa and the sea.
What we are doing
Our goal is to develop a small permaculture-inspired project in order to:
Produce healthy organic food for our own consumption
Regenerate the soil
Learn and experiment with traditional techniques and simple DIY projects
Live a simple life connected with nature
Cultural exchange
For us, hosting is mainly about cultural exchange and sharing experiences. We love meeting people from different countries, sharing meals, conversations and daily life together. We enjoy exchanging languages, recipes, skills and stories.
Volunteers will join us in light gardening, general maintenance and simple DIY tasks. No professional skills are required — we learn together as we go.
We hope to learn about your culture, ideas and way of life, and we are happy to share ours with you. We believe the most important part of this experience is living and learning together.
Hola! Nos llamamos Ángela, Javier, Sofía y nuestro perro Sid.
Estamos rehabilitando una casa antigua en Fíos con 1000 m² de terreno. Es nuestro sueño desde hace muchos años y toda una aventura en la que aprendemos a cada paso. “Poquito a poco” es nuestro lema.
Formamos parte de una ecoaldea situada a 15 minutos andando de nuestra casa.
Soñamos con crear aquí un espacio vivo y autosuficiente, en armonía con el entorno, combinando prácticas sostenibles y cultivando alimentos para autoconsumo.
Valoramos el respeto por la naturaleza, el entorno y la convivencia amable, creando comunidad.
La casa está situada en el valle del Sueve, muy cerca deArriondas, en un entorno rural tranquilo y mágico, rodeado de bosques, montañas y ríos. También estamos muy cerca de Picos de Europa y del mar.
Qué estamos haciendo
Nuestro objetivo es desarrollar un pequeño proyecto basado en la permacultura para:
Producir alimentos ecológicos y saludables para autoconsumo
Regenerar el suelo
Aprender y experimentar con técnicas tradicionales y pequeños proyectos DIY
Vivir de forma sencilla en contacto con la naturaleza
Intercambio cultural
Para nosotros, acoger personas es principalmente una experiencia de intercambio cultural. Nos encanta conocer gente de diferentes países, compartir comidas, conversaciones y el día a día.
Los voluntarios participarán en tareas ligeras de huerto, mantenimiento general y pequeños proyectos sencillos. No se requieren habilidades profesionales; aprendemos juntos en el proceso.
Esperamos aprender sobre vuestra cultura, ideas y forma de vida, y compartir la nuestra. Creemos que lo más importante es convivir y crecer juntos. -

We believe a project like this is enriched by every person who passes through it. We are not only looking for practical help, but for a genuine exchange of experiences, languages, ideas and worldviews.
We live in a beautiful area of Asturias, close to both the beach and the mountains, and we love spending time in nature. We are also part of an eco-village located a 15-minute walk from our home, where we regularly gather to share meals, celebrate and connect as a community.
We enjoy hiking in the mountains, practicing yoga, and climbing. Javi plays the accordion and loves making music with others or having small jam sessions. Sofía creates handmade crafts and enjoys sharing creative moments, teaching simple artisanal techniques and learning new creative skills from others.
As we are just at the beginning of this project, you will be able to witness — and take part in — the transformation of abandoned, bramble-filled land into a living edible forest.

Creemos que un proyecto como este se enriquece con cada persona que participa en él. No solo buscamos ayuda práctica, sino un auténtico intercambio de experiencias, idiomas, ideas y visiones del mundo.
Vivimos en una hermosa zona de Asturias, cerca de la playa y la montaña, y nos encanta pasar tiempo en la naturaleza. También formamos parte de una ecoaldea situada a 15 minutos a pie de nuestra casa, donde nos reunimos con frecuencia para compartir comidas, celebrar y conectar como comunidad.
Disfrutamos del senderismo en la montaña, practicando yoga y escalando. Javi toca el acordeón y le encanta hacer música con otros o improvisar en pequeñas sesiones. Sofía crea artesanías y disfruta compartiendo momentos creativos, enseñando técnicas artesanales sencillas y aprendiendo nuevas habilidades creativas de los demás.
Como estamos solo al comienzo de este proyecto, podrás presenciar —y participar en— la transformación de un terreno abandonado y lleno de zarzas en un bosque comestible vivo.

We are a project that is just beginning, as we have been here since the summer of 2025.
We are looking for open-minded people who would like to learn and share experiences while helping with:
Support in the vegetable garden
Preparation and design of garden beds
Taking care of the chickens
Seasonal projects depending on the time of year
Small DIY and natural maintenance projects around the house and land
Previous experience is not essential. We are not looking for professionals, just people who are curious and willing to participate and learn together.
We enjoy sharing what we know, as well as learning from others. What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and being open to light to moderate physical activity in a natural environment.
There are always small projects and daily tasks to do, and everything becomes easier — and more enjoyable — when we share the experience and build this dream step by step together.
Somos un proyecto que acaba de empezar, ya que llevamos aquí desde el verano de 2025.
Buscamos personas con mentalidad abierta que quieran aprender y compartir experiencias mientras nos ayudan con:

No es imprescindible tener experiencia previa. No buscamos profesionales, solo personas curiosas y dispuestas a participar y aprender juntas.
Nos gusta compartir nuestros conocimientos y aprender de los demás. Lo más importante es una actitud positiva, ganas de aprender y estar dispuestas a realizar actividad física ligera o moderada en un entorno natural.
Siempre hay pequeños proyectos y tareas diarias que hacer, y todo se vuelve más fácil —y más agradable— cuando compartimos la experiencia y construimos este sueño paso a paso juntas. -

Accommodation
We offer accommodation in a spacious tent with bed with mattress on our land , close to the house, surrounded by forest and nature. We have tents, mattresses, blankets, and sleeping bags available for Workawayers. There is a beautiful river nearby where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.
There is also hot shower
This is a simple, rural experience, ideal for people who enjoy being close to nature and are comfortable with basic living conditions. Volunteers will also have access to the house for shared spaces such as the kitchen and bathroom with toilet, sink and hot shower.
Food
We are vegetarians and offer mainly vegetarian meals. We kindly ask that no meat or fish is cooked in the house.
On working days, we usually share meals and take turns cooking, which is a nice moment for cultural exchange — sharing recipes, traditions and stories from our different countries.
We provide basic groceries, and we are happy to adapt to special dietary needs (gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan). On days off, meals are more flexible and self-catered depending on each person’s schedule.
Alojamiento
Ofrecemos alojamiento en una tienda de campaña amplia en nuestra propiedad con cama y sommier , cerca de la casa, rodeada de bosque y naturaleza. Hay un hermoso río cerca donde poder disfrutar de un baño.
Esta es una experiencia rural sencilla, ideal para quienes disfrutan del contacto con la naturaleza y se sienten cómodos con condiciones de vida básicas. Los voluntarios también tendrán acceso a la casa para compartir espacios como la cocina y el baño, con lavabo, retrete y ducha caliente.
Comida
Somos vegetarianos y ofrecemos principalmente comidas vegetarianas. Os pedimos que no se cocine carne ni pescado en la casa.
Los días de trabajo, solemos compartir las comidas y nos turnamos para cocinar, lo que crea un ambiente agradable para el intercambio cultural: compartimos recetas, tradiciones e historias de nuestros diferentes países.
Proporcionamos alimentos básicos y nos adaptamos con gusto a necesidades dietéticas especiales (sin gluten, sin lactosa, vegano). Los días libres, las comidas son más flexibles y cada persona puede prepararse la suya propia, según su disponibilidad. -

We are surrounded by nature, so free time is a wonderful opportunity to go for walks, explore the forest, write, draw, read or play music. It’s a peaceful place that invites creativity and rest.
In the evenings, we value calm and quiet when it’s time to sleep, as we follow a simple rural rhythm connected to daylight and nature.
Arriondas (4 km from the house) has all basic services such as supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes and public transport connections. We also have two bikes that you can use to move around independently.
Depending on the season, you can enjoy hiking in the mountains, visiting nearby beaches, river swimming, or discovering small villages in the area. Asturias offers many cultural and natural activities throughout the year.
We appreciate people who feel comfortable in natural surroundings and who respect shared spaces, community life and quiet hours.
Estamos rodeados de naturaleza, así que el tiempo libre es una maravillosa oportunidad para pasear, explorar el bosque, escribir, dibujar, leer o tocar música. Es un lugar tranquilo que invita a la creatividad y al descanso.
Por las noches, valoramos la calma y la tranquilidad a la hora de dormir, siguiendo un ritmo rural sencillo, conectado con la luz del día y la naturaleza.
Arriondas (a 4 km de la casa) cuenta con todos los servicios básicos: supermercados, farmacias, cafeterías y transporte público. También disponemos de dos bicicletas que puedes usar para moverte con libertad.
Según la temporada, puedes disfrutar de senderismo en la montaña, visitar las playas cercanas, nadar en el río o descubrir pequeños pueblos de la zona. Asturias ofrece numerosas actividades culturales y naturales durante todo el año.
Apreciamos a las personas que se sienten a gusto en entornos naturales y que respetan los espacios compartidos, la vida en comunidad y la tranquilidad. -
