My name is Mary, and I’m here to welcome and connect volunteers to our beautiful finca of 140 hectares in the jungle of Costa Rica, about one and a half hours away from Santa Teresa.
We are creating a space for people who want to slow down, reconnect with nature, and take a break from constant phone use.
Beyond being a digital detox retreat, our longterm vision is to build a conscious, international community based on respect, cooperation, and simple living. We want to prove that it is possible that all nations can live peacefully together.

We would love to host people for six weeks. But if you can‘t stay so long and still feel a huge calling, let me know!
We currently employ six local staff members, who have been working with us for several years.
They are responsible for the maintenance and care of the land and facilities, including gardening, general upkeep, and ensuring that everything on the finca runs smoothly.
They are an essential part of our project and contribute greatly to the continuity and well-being of the place. -

At our finca, cultural exchange happens naturally through daily life.
We share meals, stories, skills, and perspectives from different cultures while living and working together in nature.
Volunteers are invited to experience a slower, more conscious way of life, learn about sustainable living in the Costa Rican jungle, and share their own traditions, ideas, and talents with the community.
Through collaboration, creativity, and open communication, we create a space of mutual learning and respect.
Our place is home to a unique botanical bamboo garden, featuring 47 diverse species of bamboo in a peaceful natural setting. We also have a beautiful sauna next to three huge waterfalls for you to enjoy and a diversity of nice books in our library. -
Arbeit
We welcome creative people who enjoy greenhouse and garden work, simple wood projects, building, helping in the kitchen, and contributing ideas to shape and beautify the place.
If you like co-creating, working hands-on, and being part of an evolving project, you will feel at home here. -

Unterkunft
At the moment, we are still in the process of building the volunteer accommodations.
For now, volunteers stay in the cabinas that are also used for guests.
We recommend bringing your own sleeping bag. Once a week, a local food truck stops nearby, offering fresh fruits and vegetables and the option to order food. In addition, someone regularly goes to town to buy other groceries. Meals can be prepared and enjoyed together, creating a shared and cozy atmosphere. All the food will be provided by us. -
