Planning to go to Scandinavia November-February looking for long time volunteer

Hi! 😊

I’m currently travelling through Costa Rica and will be heading back to Germany at the beginning of October. From November onwards, I would love to continue my adventure somewhere in Scandinavia for a few months — ideally until January, February or even March. I especially dream of spending Christmas there, surrounded by snow, nature and lovely people, and experiencing a real Scandinavian winter.

I would be especially happy to find a Workaway where I can work with animals, particularly dogs or horses. I have been riding horses for around 15 years and have experience with horse care, groundwork, young horses and working with them calmly and patiently. I also have a lot of experience with dogs, including regularly caring for and training two dogs back home in Germany, as well as volunteering in dog and animal shelters abroad. During my travels, I have also worked at a horse and animal rescue ranch in the Dominican Republic and on a finca in Costa Rica.

I would love to become part of a nice family, community or animal project, help wherever I’m needed and share everyday life together. I’m happiest when I can be outdoors, work with animals, learn new things and be surrounded by kind, open-minded people. I’m really looking forward to experiencing Scandinavian culture, making new friends and hopefully creating some very special winter and Christmas memories. ❄️🎄🐴🐕

I recently started learning Spanish and I’m very motivated to improve it. I would love to continue practicing and learning more through daily conversations and cultural exchange. I’m also interested in improving my English and becoming more confident in speaking it. I’m always open to learning and practicing new languages.

I am a motivated and hardworking person who is not afraid of any task. I stay calm in all situations, am reliable, helpful and friendly, and I get along well with different kinds of people.

I especially enjoy working with animals. I am currently volunteering on a horse and animal rescue ranch and have been here for one month, gaining hands-on experience with horse care and general animal care. This has given me valuable practical skills and strengthened my sense of responsibility.

I am always willing to learn, support where needed and contribute positively to the team.

I also enjoy photography and always travel with my cameras to capture special moments and beautiful places. I love horse riding and spending time outdoors, especially hiking and exploring nature.
