Description
🌼 We're looking for a FEMALE Workawayer for June 2025!
📅 Especially needed between 10–20 June 2025.
If you enjoy spending time with families and children, we'd love to host you.
Feel free to message us for more details!
We are a happy family of four. I (Sultan,36) am an English teacher in a public school. My husband Aykut (38) is an electronics engineer. My daughter Zehra is ten years old. My second daughter Zeynep is seven years old.
We live on the 4th floor of a 4-storey apartment building with elevator in the heart of Osmaniye city center. The temperature in this nice city in southern Türkiye is consistently above 15 degrees Celsius. 🌞🌞🌞 Every Wednesday, a large fruit and vegetable market (bazaar) is held in front of our house, offering a wide variety of fresh, local vegetables and fruits. You can easily walk to the biggest shopping mall of the city (Park328), supermarkets, cafes, sports center, hospitals.
⚠️We need workawayers to spend time with Zehra and Zeynep and help with household chores , cooking, and also for cleaning. I’d also like to take workawayers to my school and my daughters’ schools. We can have lessons together or plan some activities for the students. The workawayers can make a small presentation about his/her own country, the places he/she lives, and the countries he/she has traveled to or anything they want to share. They can arrange some traditional children games from their countries. Since we’re living in a small city, it’ll be a great opportunity for the students to learn about the other people and countries.
From the minute you arrive you will be treated as one of the family and we will also look after you as such. We hope you look after our house as if it was yours and do the chores that you would do in any place like tidy the kitchen after the meals, put in and take off the things of the dish washer, keep your bedroom and toilet clean, vacuum and mop the house....
We love travelling a lot. When I was studying at university, I was an exchange student in Denmark. I travelled all over Europe. In 2012 I attended a program called SWY ( The Ship for World Youth) in Japan. I visited Japan, India, Singapur,Sri Lanka thanks to this program. My husband was also an exchange student in Poland. He has been in USA for three months for work and travel programme. After we got married, we visited some European countries together (Greece, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosna, Spain). We are a travelling, open-minded, easy-going, extroverted couple. We love chatting with travel-lovers.
My husband and I like to spend time in the kitchen. He is really good at cooking. You will be lucky to taste Turkish cuisine. We’d really happy if you sometimes cook your traditional meals. If you are vegan or vegeterian, you are welcome to cook for yourself.
🪙 We have a coin and fridge magnet collection, and we'd love to add a coin and a magnet from your country to our collection or any souvenirs from your country. You don’t have to bring anything btw if you don’t want to 🤗
🚭As we are a non-smoker and non-drinker family , we expect you not to smoke and drink at our properties.
✈️✈️✈️ Çukurova Airport (COV) is the nearest international airport. There is a shuttle bus from Çukurova airport to Osmaniye. If you are looking for cheap international flights, you can also search Antalya or Dalaman Airport. From these airports, you can take domestic flights to Çukurova Airport ( COV ) or nights buses to Osmaniye.
🚂🚂🚂 We have a train station in Toprakkale - Osmaniye. Regional trains connect Osmaniye with Hatay, Mersin, and Adana, and vice versa. From Adana train station, there are more regional trains that go to various locations in Türkiye.
🚌🚌🚌 The bus terminal in Osmaniye offers tickets to all cities in Türkiye. For a convenient way to search for and purchase tickets, visit obilet.com/en. This website allows you to explore routes, compare prices, and book tickets online easily.
P.S. We only can host people with a valid health insurance.
It would be good if you send us a copy of your passport on arrival.Types of help and learning opportunities

We want to create a natural environment for the girls to learn a foreign language. Your native language can be English, Spanish, Arabic, French or other. You can speak with them in English and in your native language. You can teach them some games, songs.
We would be really happy if you could spend at least one hour with the kids separately every day. You can help Zehra with her homework and play with Zeynep. They have their own rooms.
Girls are interested in learning to play the piano and chess. It would be great if you have skills in these areas.
From the minute you arrive you will be treated as one of the family and we will also look after you as such.
