Sawaddee to Every Volunteer :)
After such a long period of the pandemic, COVID -19. Now seemed like everything is legally back to normal in Thailand.
As well as, all the fear and panic that people in our community and the majority of Thailand are fading away. Another word to say is people get used to handle with this situation quite well now. The Thai government also are unleashing the strict regulations to encourage people and tourists to go out to their normal lives.
Therefore, our farm is now fully back to accepting volunteers from all over the world like always. In fact, the project is much more interesting and challenging since we have been developed our farm to comply with all 17 goals of UN SDGs.
And of course, in order to accomplish that goal. We need to do it together globally as partners to make this dream come true for all nations.
People says "Practice makes the best." And yes, it's true. During Covid- 19, we have been improving our farm in many ways strategically to cope with the pandemic and to be a real sustainable solution to the world. Now we are ready to move on to the next chapter with you!
If you are ready to move on to this challenging opportunity then "READ MORE BELOW".
Hi to every workawayers,
"Our concept"
is combining farming and lifestyle together. So everyone in the community can be part of it. Based on the self-sufficient economy theory, here you would learn how to live the King Rama IX's philosophy through our daily farm works together with local people. Exchanging your experience with theirs.
"Our goal"
is to help people making themselves a self dependent. Growing their own food, build their own habitat, maintain a good health through eating and working out, learn what they need to know to survive and live happy life. Finally, share their lives with others to expand this kind of community throughout the country.
"Travel to the farm"
The farm located in HUA HIN, Thailand where it takes 2.45 hrs driving from Bangkok. There are buses, vans, trains for you to take every hour to reach Hua Hin.
"Top traveler's Destination"
Hua Hin is a beach city and it is one of the top travelling destination for tourists both native and international travelers. There are lots of beach activities all day and night. If you like hiking, Hua Hin is also the place for you. There are caves, forest, waterfalls. Or even a city life like shopping, street art market, movies, plays, live band music, dancing and etc.
The best thing is you can reach any where within less than one hour.
"25 minutes to Permaculture"
Our farm takes about 25 minutes driving from town. We do the agriculture, poultry, aquaculture, horsing, and other farm animals like pigs, cows, beetles, bees. There are places for you to stay for both short and long term.
"Working in the farm"
As a volunteer, you would work at the farm daily for 2 periods from 8 am until 12 pm. And again from 4 pm -6pm.
5 consecutive days a week, follow by 2 days off. Workdays start right at the next day after your arrival. Does NOT matter which day you arrive, everybody is treated the same way.
Sometimes you get to work only one period a day depends on the task requirement. Note that it is FLEXIBLE. The daily (Routine) works are feeding animals, watering the plants, of course, with just turning on the springer valve, preparing new plants for growing. Sometimes you will get to work on the TASK like making charcoals or even do the MISSION like help cleaning the community street depend on the occasional events of the year.
"Break Time"
Once you have a break, you can enjoy our facilities from the farm. You can rest in your own private room and shared room. You can swim in the salt water swimming pool. You can play pool. And even ride the motorbike ( you can rent on your own) or bike (we provide for you) to the beach or caves or town as you wish.
Come join us, we always welcome you as a volunteer. To build up a good community with us. Let's exchange our good experience together and share the good moment and friendship with us.
Hope to see you soon
