Description
Hey there! It was December 28th, 2020 when our lives took an unexpected turn. All flights from Bulgaria were suddenly canceled, leaving us stranded during what was meant to be a quick skiing getaway. Instead of panicking, we embraced the moment and made a bold decision - selling everything we owned to travel the world! We're now into our 5th year of this incredible journey and absolutely loving every moment of it.
The courage to make such a life-changing move wasn't actually that difficult. We'd been feeling called to do something "radical" for months, especially after experiencing the heart-wrenching loss of our 10-year-old son and his mother. Even completing the challenging 192-mile Coast to Coast walk across England only left us yearning for something even braver. Life is precious and painfully short - we learned that lesson the hardest way possible. So embracing it fully just made perfect sense for us.
My partner Liz and I are both 44 years old. Our amazing daughter Betty travels with us - she's 8 years old but honestly carries herself with the confidence of someone much older! She absolutely loves conversation and has the most compassionate heart I've ever seen in a child. This journey has been as healing as it is exciting for our family, bringing us closer together through all our adventures.
We're an incredibly motivated family with skills that complement each other beautifully. I'm Steve (INTJ) with strong problem-solving abilities, while Liz (ENFP) has exceptional people and leadership talents. I'm quite technical and have managed various projects from renovations to helping small businesses grow. Anything computer-related comes naturally to me, and I currently run several Fiverr gigs helping clients with everything from spreadsheets to websites. Liz thrives in the kitchen and absolutely loves making people happy by organizing events and planning vacations for us and our friends.

As a family we love nature, especially walking and long-distance walks.
Steve and the kids love Scuba Diving, Skiing, Running, Swimming, Trampolining & Cycling. Liz is amazing at painting rocks.

We were never actually on a road to stay with Anh , Thang , Linh , Neigha and Cherry but Anh contacted us needing some help for her summer camp. We originally was only going for 4 days until she could find a new volunteer but in the end we stayed for one month !
